Fair enough. Don't think it's man management; more Blackwell's preferred style of play.
It's man management.

We CAN'T bring him back!!!!!!! No recall clause. We can sell, but not recall. STUPID STUPID oversight by Blackwell......unless he really hates Billy.
Blackwell really hates Billy.

Looking at Doncaster's results, his goals have come against rammell like Bristol City, Wendy, Palace, Scunthorpe and Peterborough. Has he actually scored against anyone good, any sort of side that you could argue belong at Championship or better a level?
You're really labouring this point, and I still don't really know what rammell means. The Championship is made up of 24 clubs. A goal against the bottom club counts just as much against a goal against the top club.

Billys goal scoring was never really in question, but he hasn't done it in our more direct style of play. All the Scunny fans (both of them) I know said that he would only score with the ball to his feet in the six yard box, an they are right of course. At the time we were trying to play him off the shoulder of the last defender with Beattie flicking on to him. Wasn't going to work. He didn't score, the frustrations built from both sides and obviously the relationship between him and Blackwell deteriorated. Its unfortunate but it happens. You can't be friends with everyone.

Now Billy is the big fish in a little pond and getting the chances he needs. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

We will just undoubtedly take the first offer that comes. I'd just get used to the fact that he's going.

Its known amongst those at the club that Blackwell and Billy don't get on. He doesn't like the fact that Billy is a kid pulling 10K+ per week and apparently used to pick him out for critisism even when he wasn't playing.

As one who thought he couldn't make the step up its good to be proved wrong, but anyone watching him huff and puff his way around the pitch this last couple of seasons has to admit he looked shite. Forget all this crap about "doing BT's running for him", no one remembers a hard working striker, they remember the bloke putting it in the back of the net.

If we have half a brain we get him back at the end of his loan spell, put an arm around him and play him as the "fox in the box" that he clearly is. If the guy can bag you 20 a season you set your play up around him surely? I don't think anyone would be unhappy if he came back and started banging the goals in for us next term.

Agree with Houso as well, strikers shouldn't have to work hard to create chances they should however be working hard to create the space to put those chances away when they come.

Isn't that just working hard? They shouldn't be working hard, but they should be working hard?

Easy question .......

cheap as chips stays at BDTBL sell Billy, for me i'd sooner have Billy back an give cheap as chips the boot !
