I have a 11 year old son, the boy lives for united. I for one am glad that his journey did start in the 3rd tier. It also means that in days to come we will have something to look back on, a shared journey that no one will ever take away from us. I just don't think it would have been the same, or meant as much had he come on board a middle of the table premier league SUFC.

One of the best posts I have read on here pal and I hope it continues , brought a bit of a tear to my eye as the last match I went to with my dad before he passed away was the Walsall relegation game ( I was 13 ) so would have loved to have shared the rise back up with him at Darlington and Leicester and hull v burnley game and onto the wilder years

Yep and thank god we lost to Burnley in the Play Off Final at Wembley. We stored up the years of agony and now we're cashing in. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Yes same here my daughter as seen us rise from the third tier as well and is absolutely loving it. She calls it father daughter day I say it’s a miracle after some of the rubbish I have put up with. Are we enjoying the ride you bet we are awesome.

Bit torn but option one would mean we missed that beautiful day in La Liga where we wiped the smile off the face of that shower in S6 and have continued to just keep sticking the boot ever since in and it hurts them....really hurts them and that makes me happy. I will never get over myself laughing about the comments about our Premiership players been unable to get in their squad, not fit to lace Forsetieres boots, Basham who etc so i may go for option two just on that basis.

Same for me and my 10 year old boy .......these are special times for us both,once in a lifetime experiences and we are loving it.
I keep telling him how lucky he is in his first season with a season ticket to be witnessing the blades doing what they’re doing......marching on together.
