Deffo skiddies, hate the Americanisms creeping into our language... Guys, Soccer, pants, "can I get" instead of can I have etc.

"Can I get" does my absolute nut in.

If only those serving would respond with a "no, we don't do self service", leave them standing there and go on to serve the next person, it would soon rid us of this loathsome Americanism. If they then combine this with an upward intonation at the end of the request, the server should be morally and legally bound to smash their face in and remove any child bearing potential with a blunt and rusty instrument!

As the thread topic is about pants and while I'm at it, kids who wander around with their trousers half way down their backsides, thus displaying their grubby Calvin Klein's should also suffer the same fate.

Just realised, very unprofessional of me and I know I've let my fellow posters, the club, playing staff and those Hero's in the ticket office down but I forgot to wear the magic pants!

I am so sorry, I got complacent, it never crossed my mind. It was family curry night then we all huddled around the TV with tea, ice cream and chocolate for the big game oblivious to the fact that people were sitting next to me without complaining.

I am ashamed and I hope the players learn from my error. Every game is important not just the big ones.
