Worrying apathy

Spot on post, there were times when i couldn't eat or sleep following the raww, but now the apathy is of MASSIVE proportions.
I still go and so do my family but its a case of zzzz and waiting for the inevitable. :tumbleweed:

Each time we lose now I just laugh to myself. It's been the same for the past 2 seasons now and it probably first started during Weir's rein, went away for Clough's first 6 months in charge but then started again last season.

Back in our first couple of seasons at this level under Wilson I would get so frustrated at any loss but now it doesn't effect me at all. If the players on the pitch can't be bothered then why I should I get myself worked up by it.

For the last 2 seasons I've been to 3 away games in total. I just really can't be bothered with it and if it wasn't for habit I probably wouldn't renew my season ticket. We are in such a rut and nothing is changing despite what people at the club (Adkins, Phipps, Baki, Brayford etc) like to say either in the media or on Twitter. It's same old, same old.

I wish I did feel that way.

I had that resigned feeling when we got relegated, even though we were losing and drawing every game. I sort of cheered myself up with the notion that relegation would be the shock treatment we needed and we could wipe the slate clean, start over again, piss the league and build a strong Championship side.
Safe to say it didn't work out like that.

All I feel at matches now is a burning anger at these lazy, feckless playboys stealing a good wage for playing shit and not giving one.
I have nothing but contempt for them I'm sorry to say.
I never used to be the negative type and always gave the managers, players and board far more leniency than they probably deserved in the past, but something snapped in the second half of last season after too many capitulations to crap teams who weren't even trying particularly hard to win, just harder than us.

The problem is I've got a season ticket and I'll be damned if I pay £380 and not make full use of it, however miserable it makes me.

The away games are getting scaled back though. Wigan on Boxing Day for the piss-up, Southend and Blackpool if we get them on a weekend. But the football won't be the main part of those trips.

In the meantime, these arseholes need to be told in no uncertain terms that this is bang out of order.

Couldn’t have put it better myself. I get so angry watching them play at times. I was almost glad against Millwall to have the distraction of the ref to aim my anger at because it’s such a conflict trying to give support to these absolute wankers stealing our money week in week out. It’s inevitably managers that pay the price whilst these tossers keep living on easy street.

Agree with all the sentiments above, these players are shit for the money we're paying them. I'm sure we could do better, but the blames lies with the board, manager, fans in that order ( and when I say fans it's the booing)

Above all those, I would put the players. The nobheads who are taking a big wage, serving up utter dross and then going out on the lash with their ill gotten gains not giving a fuck whilst we’re all hurting. Managers and board members might have made poor decisions in buying these players but it’s the players who are stepping out on that pitch and cheating us every week.

I made a similar point the other day with regard to the manager. I actually have complete faith that Adkins is the man for the job. Which pisses me off even more because the way I see it, this sorry bunch are making him look like a twat.

I'm not sure we have the team spirit that existed before, even under Clough's reign. The goal celebrations all appear to be low key and artificial, not sure the players even like each other. I'm worried about this team :-(

Most of all, the players aren't playing anywhere near a standard as high as the standard of our current home kit
