Hmmm....mixed views. None sad to see him go mind.

However, not many 23 years olds are accomplished in the Championship. Assuming he comes as a centre back rather than full back.

If he's big, strong and athletic then that is half the battle. Sadly, I fear we won't be bothered if he can pass the ball and be calm under pressure because it looks like we will be more hoof again.
At best we can hope he's an 8/10 player half the time this season but games will see him learn and improve. We might then be first in the line for a permanent deal.

So he's either a defensive behemoth who will strike terror into the hearts of all who dare to attack us or he's an absolute disaster and the symbol of how far this club has fallen on it's journey towards oblivion.

Similar to these comments from Kenny Jackett:

“We all know Ethan will come good at some stage on a regular basis. He’s got too much. Too much power, too much pace, he’s got a very good character and he can bring the ball out and pass as well.

“And where he was a threat on Saturday was the opposition box, he’s got a goal or two in him.

“He has too many attributes not to come good at some stage.”​

Reading between the lines he admits there are flaws in his game as well, but his potential is very good. Hopefully this is the move he needs.

Wasn't Collins classed as a fairly decent player when he was at Wolves. TBF if EEL is a physically more imposing version of Collins I'd be happy enough with that at this level. Apart from reading Wolves fans views on this thread I know f*** all about the lad, I'll reserve judgement until I've seen him a few times.
