Since the formation of the Premier League last night was only our second win away at one of the current so called the big six, the last time being at Anfield under Dave Bassett in 1994.

Go back a little further and we won away at Spurs in 1991 and away at Chelsea in 1992 under Bassett but those were in the old First Division.

Since that promotion in 1990 we have yet to win away at Arsenal or Man City in a Top flight game.

We could of course out one of those records straight on Saturday 😉.

we also won at Chelsea in the PL in 1993, but of course we finished above them that year.

We last won at City in 1987-8 and at Arsenal in 1971-2.

Man City and Chelsea weren't in the big six in the early 90's

There was a big five, which included Everton, and we have won there on four occasions since 1990

that’s why I used the word “current“
