Not correct though. Ours is 5 appearances in the Championship play-offs with no wins, they have appeared 3 times with no wins. I think they have a bad semi-final record but they are a better team than us based on the performances in the 3 games against them this season.

Psychologically I don't think we have what it takes to go there and win. Hope I'm wrong.
we werent pschologically prepared to go to QPR really were we
but turned in an amazing performance

we can do it thing is will we
lets hope the Forest that played Hull turn up

Let's hope that Forest capitulate like the QPR team with nothing to play for did, or maybe drop 7 first teamers like they did against Hull.

Hopefully we play better than the 0-0 against Hull if that is one of the benchmarks of a good side?!

they werent that good at Bournemouth
didnt have a shot second half
they were wilting against us until Egan stumbled
that gift would lift any team
we need a bit of a deflection and a boost to our ego like they got

no matter how good bad teams were its still a 1 goal lead at half time in the tie
so no ones home and hosed yet

Sounds easy then. I don’t know why I’m doubting us. They lose at home all the time after all!

wed just lost to Reading and there were doubts wed retain a play off spot ,,, at a guess
Bit of a reach to say we weren't 'psychologically prepared' though?
You're in danger of becoming one of the body language experts

He could start by telling them to grow some bollocks, that would be nice

Nothing to lose in terms of expectation- we need a Middlesbrough type performance- at them like angry terriers from the off, shut the crowd up and who knows. I rather go down 0-3 giving it a reyt go than fad about hoping to Nick a goal

yes thats like telling a suicidal person to man up, inspirational
Sometimes it's all it takes

There wasn't a huge tactical play in the second half at QPR compared to the first, they were read the last rites. Yes we need to be tactically better tomorrow but as much as that we need to take the game to them much more and make them beg for forgiveness.

We didn't force Samba into a save.

we were not at our best saturday , is blatantly obvious
I would like to think we can do much better

our first season in the prem we lost at home to southapton and looked laboured
but next game won 2-0 at Everton and looked a different team

thats how football has always been

I think last Saturdays result was all part of a very cunning plan,

They have the advantage of going into the 2nd game, at home and knowing what is need to win through , but Heckey, has by getting the team to play so badly lulled Forest into a false sense of security.
When we play them tomorrow they wont know what hit them, and tomorrow will hence forth be remembered as

The Hecky Thump day.....👍👍👍

well lets see he was in charge for a month when they lost 4-0 at home to fulham in late october
Whilst I'd like us to beat them, I'll let the players prove that they can do it, rather than cling to stats that prove that we may or may not win.

Ive said that all along
the players will know they were not at their best saturday but battled on to reduce the damage using sheer grit
need a full 90 minutes of that tenacity

It wasn't 'sheer grit' that meant that we only lost 2-1, it was a combination of Wes Foderingham and their shit finishing.

If you’re looking for a precedent that points the way to a better performance tomorrow night, I reckon 2-0 at Everton in 2019 is about as poor an example as you could cite.

We were badly second best all that game, had v little possession, gave it away sloppily when we did, spent most of the 90 mins under aerial bombardment in our own box, and somehow squeaked a 2-0 whilst having (from memory) a total of one shot on goal all game.

So, quite a long way from looking “a different team” to the one that played Southampton. A great day out, fabulous celebrations at Moose’s goal, but a largely rubbish performance and a very lucky three points.

A persuasive precedent for progress vs Forest on Tuesday, it ain’t.

How badly would we have had to be beaten on Saturday for you to be worried?

I reckon you'd still be trying to put a positive spin on it if we'd lost 0-3.

but that's the point. just have to score 2 and stop Forest from scoring

it's pretty much what's required
