I think from previous interviews CW is interested in adding another wideman to the squad, you guys got any particular suggestions? Mine would be this lad...

Jon Taylor would be a fantastic acquisition, but sadly I don't think he is within our reach while we remain in League One. I would have thought Peterborough would want a good fee for him.

It will be interesting to see who we're linked with to fill this position, because as of yet we haven't heard much.

With Duffy on the left (?) I think it depends on whether Che can make it on the right. If he stays, that is.

I'd take a punt on a young loanee or two here. We'll need backup for Duffy in case he gets injured and someone on the other flank to push Adams.

Pace is a must, though. The speed of play we've had to endure these past two seasons has been diabolical.

With the way I think he's looking to play wingers aren't really a consideration. Very god player though.

id go for ryan kent on loan from liverpool seen clips of him and was impressed

Joe dodoo hat trick on debut v bury for Leicester then went to bury on loan but wasn't given a chance also scored against west sham and burton
Callum harriott was on loan at Colchester last season or give young kamarni smith a chance in pre season

Duffy is right pegged and plays more from the right doesn't he?

My choice would be Harry Chapman on loan from Boro. Was the lad Barnsley raved about last season

Agree.

I'm expecting 4-2-3-1 with Brayford and Hussey pushing on safe in the knowledge that if we lose possession Basham can drop into a back three while we recover. I'm also expecting that Duffy is going to play central, with him and Fleck (playing alongside Basham in the 2) having the flexibility to cover each others positions during the ebb and flow of games.

I thought this thread was about wingers anyhow? Jon Taylor isn't a winger. He may have a number 7 on his back, but he's not a winger at all. I thought we were discussing fast, wide players?

Look no further than Ariyibi at Chesterfield.

It's the least we could do after allowing them to sign Ched.

With Paul Mitchell here as well I'd say he'll definitely be on the radar.

But, he plays on the right, and I'm pretty sure that's where Duffy's going to play. Wilder wants balance, that'll mean a left footer on the left wing. The balance aspect is something I fully agree with him on and while I would prefer a left footer I wouldn't be totally dead set on it, if the best player we can get is right footed then so be it.

Our best bet out wide will be a young player on loan. Martin Samuelsen who was on loan at Peterborough from West Ham last season is an extremely talented player and could be gettable. Jacob Murphy too if he's not off to the Championship.

West Ham doing something positive for SUFC, that really would be offering an Olive branch
