What with silly season possibly starting in management sacking terms and our good and unbeaten start to the season.
Do you think that anyone will try and poach Wilson from us?

No and I doubt he'll be interested either. Still has a challenging job here with a great club and he gets to work close to home. The Premier League won't come knocking and with the candidates currently out of work (eg McCarthy, Coyle) can't see a Championship side being interested either.

From an outsiders point of view, arguably he failed last season so hasn't achieved anything with us yet.

As others have said, from his personal point of view, there aren't many better jobs outside of the Prem with the potential this job has, even with all the financial problems etc.

I agree with that.

I see Owen Coyle has bitten the dust, not that I'd expect Bolton to come a calling. It is though and example of the grass not neceaasarily quite as green as it seems and I'd hope Danny boy would take that into account.

I don't think Bolton will come calling, but were Bournemouth to take Eddie Howe back (strongly rumoured), I could see a club like Burnley being interested.

Which club is likely to be inerested in Wilson?
We blew it last season after being in the driving seat until the last two games with the most expensive squad in the division
We are currently lagging behind the giants of football Tranmere and Stevenage despite having the most expensive squad in the division
Delusions of grandeur or what? I would think it highly unlikely that any club would want to poach Wilson - Managers with far better pedigrees are out there looking for work and have achieved more in the game that Wilson could ever dream of!
Wilsons doing ok with the tools at his disposal - Don't get carried away he's won nowt at the Lane yet!!!

Just remember that Wilson wasn't interested in the United job and didn't even apply for the position. It was KM who asked Wilson to be manager so it wouldn't surprise me if he did leave but I doubt any club would come calling for him. Maybe had he took us up, but as he didn't I don't think our start to this season, being undefeated this season would be enough for another club to be interested in him.

Agree Fiery - we have got so used to mediocrity that many people think we are an attractive football club still.
We're not - we are third division bobbar and we play like it.
Not going to change any allegiances but it's a reality that some find hard to grasp.
The quality and the entertainment is desperate - but it's all we have.
As things stand now, Bolton is a far more attractive proposition than SUFC - it's a shit fact but it's a fact nonetheless.

Cant see the allure of Bolton , even when they were up top 10 in the prem their support was dreadful, the towns a dump ,I go there to do jobs and its depressing driving through it, its like being back in the seventies

But like anything in life and football, if you are paid enough, you will work anywhere
