Harry - overweight inexperienced boy, but presumably if we flogged him it'd be Armageddon (part 765)
Tactics - nobody in the premier league plays 4-4-2
Huddle - Yeovil beat us with a huddle
KMac - can't and won't shoot
Folded arms - nobody wants a foldy armed manager, we need a wavey armed manager

Agreed, none of that matters and it's just a measure of frustration.

Even 2 months ago people were complaining during our unbeaten run

what adjustments would you have made yesterday ,given the players available ?

Nowt wrong with team selection. The adjustment I'd make it to remind the players where the goal is, and that goals win games not farting aound from side to side and avoiding meaningful decisions. Also that they really aren't that much better that Hartepool or Yeovil players, and you have to work for your living.

All very true. If we're losing games all perspective is lost, and before you know it the pies are shite and the seats uncomfortable. I hate being critical, because you get swept up into the mob, many of whom I disagree with. But it's not right at the moment, that's for sure.


One of the most used moans when we lose is that the players aren't putting the effort in. Over the years it's always made me smile because is so often nonsense. But right now, it's a fair criticism. The only excuse I can offer is that they've been told to be patient in their play. When this goes wrong, it's painfully boring and certainly looks like a lack of effort.

Ive had time to calm down after yesterday's debacle
Obviously there was going to be an onslaught from all the varying factions it's understandable.
Ive haven't missed a game just been to Coventry away.
If we are truthful we are in a false position in the league because at best we are very ordinary.
To sack Wilson whilst still in a promotion position would be ludicrous.
I would just make the following points starting from the back.
1. Long has made a few mistakes but the kids potentially has a great future don't get on his back the barracking made me sick yesterday .
2.McMahon is improving wasn't sure at first but he's won me over, centre backs McGuire and Kennedy move Higgingbottom to left back ferry out Williams on loan he's starting to become a liability.
3.McDonald,Doyle both these need to up it and Whitehouse completing the trio in midfield.
4.Blackman must return to centre forward this right wing position is starting to become laughable get young Ironside as a regular as the target man with Murphy having a free roll.
Get shut of Kitson immediately hes just going through the motions.
Flynn brings nothing to the team.
5. The bench should be made up completely of young uns with the exception of Porter maybe can we please get shut of Creswell

We've got to stick with Wilson until (hopefully not) mathematically impossible to get promotion if we bring somebody else in in panic we will might live to regret it.
Morgan will sort out the motivation thing.

Am sorry to say that I have been consistent in my view that he is not good enough and any offer over £2 should be seriously looked at.

Occasionally he does surprise me with with a good contribution but generally I would say he's an average stopper and a rubbish footballer.

I got slated a few days ago after saying Harry wasnt that good.

As for Kitson, Van Persie would not have scored for us yesterday there was no service what so ever. Agree move Blackman up top and Murphy out wide.

I think Harry could be/will be a decent Championship level defender, his problem is always going to be his pace and distribution and this won't improve.
I do think he reads the game well from time to time, and that will get better. This could be done while playing for us, and I do think him and Tel could develop a better centre half pairing than we have currently over time.

Therefore if we don't get an offer over 2 Million then we should definitely keep him, anything significantly over this and we've had their pants down.
For that money I think we could buy a long term replacement for Collins, and I think the academy has better potential options to replace Harry.

Just my personal thoughts.
