Heard a rumour today that he may be on his way to Rotherham who apparently are willing to pay him similar to what he was at Pompey
 
Good luck to him wherever he ends up, but I think we should move on and look for other targets. People should perhaps listen to the words of green blade on this one. In addition there are several factors that suggest he would be less effective if he came back - he wouldn't be backed up by Lowton for one thing.
 
Wilson said on RS this morning he would consider having Williamson back but of course it wouldn't happen unless he wanted to come back and we let someone go
 
Why do we have this addiction to raking over old coals? Brown, Tonge, Webber, Beattie, Bent and now Willo. All either been back or talked about ad nauseum. Its never as good the second time around. Surely we should be looking for new players, something different. Remember he left because he didn't want to play for us any longer. Whats changed in 6 months other than he made the wrong call?

Perhaps we could get Jacob Mellis back so everyone can boo him for being a cock end.
 
did we not just let someone go?? its like when we had gallacher on loan, we couldnt get him or anybody else back cos we needed to use the money on a goalie. yet we never signed a goalie. it seems the goal posts move all the time down at mccabe towers. besides, weve got about 5 players who arent worth tuppence who we could release tomorrow and nobody would notice.

im not saying mccabe is tight, but the players have to wipe their arse with that really nasty school bog roll from the 80s. the one that doesnt so much mop up the excess turdage, as spread it around your bum like nutella*

You've not seen much of us this season then?

I agree, in principle, that we should look elsewhere. But this all started with him being "out of work" so to speak. Apparently we can't even pick up Doley's without moving someone on now.

Seen and heard enough to know we are a steaming pile that has bumbled its way through the season.

Problem is these days Grecian, the transfer fee is bobbins compared to the wages.

Every rule has an exception but lets be honest I bet you can count on one hand the players that have returned and continued to wow us. I can think of Edwards and Deane in 30+ years and even the latter wasn't as good as when he left first time.
 



brian deane did pretty good 2nd time round. until some gimp flogged him.

not that williamson is fit to clean brian deanes windows!

It's reference to an earlier post regarding a particular brand of toilet tissue that re-arranged the original deposit around the arse cheeks rather than remove it.

I believe this brand to be "Izal Medicated". It truly was a horrible product used in schools and other public places in the Sixties and Seventies.

Yep my Grandma, a nurse, had it in her house. Not sure if it was, ahem, appropriated from a hospital.
