Isn't there a rule on how many loans a club can make in a season, short and long term. How the hell is all this being allowed?
They are short-term contracts, not loaned players. I don't think there's any limit on the number of players that you can bring in on short-term deals, provided they are free agents and not tied to other clubs.
MercThoughts?
Around here the understanding is that Lee Williamson got himself into a bit of bother financially whilst playing for Northampton Town. His then team mate Ashley Westwood allegedly paid up some of Willos debts who he owed to some less than credible loan providers, Westwood is now first team coach at Portsmouth.
If there is anything in this (which wouldn't surpirse me) then looks like Willo was short of offers so Westwood called in a favour to his old mate... Certianly makes more sense than taking up the offer from us.
Willo's Pure Ambition Tour 2012-13
So far he has achieved 66 mins against Bournemouth and lasted 33 mins before being subbed a minute or so after Pompey took the lead at Col U last night.
Looking Good feller.

If it's a hamstring injury, his agent's going to have to play a blinder to get a new contract from this ambitious club, providing they are still in business obviously.
