Trust you? Why, you are obviously a raving lunatic.

Are you one of the people who ring up Radio Sheffield asking 'where the money has gone'?

FFS, get off your arse and read the accounts. We lose money EVERY year. How does this work? Well for 13 years McCabe loaned us more to make up the losses but now its the Prince.

Wages might be lower than the Championship but they are still considerably larger than our income. Trust me........

Oh come on you really believe the accounts? Shame on you.

The accounts are publicly available. Which part of them is fabricated?

We are losing money hand over fist. There is absolutely nothing for the board to be happy about. Crowds are good in the circumstances, but prices are low. The only way anyone is going to make money out of the club is to get us back to the Premier League.

If those who are putting the money in to keep the club afloat decide they've had enough, and pull out - then you'll very quickly realise how much the club is losing.

So why do they do it? Because the level of support in League One demonstrates to them the potential that is there - that if they can get us to the Premier League, there is a chance of their investment paying off. It is the club's support which has attracted investors in the first place. If people vote with their feet and the crowds drop off in a big way, the owners' losses will increase and so will the perception that the club has big potential. These two factors will quickly encourage the current owners to pull out, and will discourage anyone else from investing. Then our current woes will seem like nothing.

Our current league position is frustrating for everyone. However the club is reasonably secure financially. The reason for that is the loyal support of its fans - partly because that gives some income, and partly because it attracts those who invest. Try to encourage an end to that loyalty, and you kill the club.

So why not spend what is needed to get out of the league? I for one don't believe everything in the accounts. Who owns the ground? McCabe? And is he renting it back to the club?

Strangely I might actually get a season ticket and start going again next year regardless of position as my son will be at age where he might want to go. I just hope the NSPCC don't find out.

Of course everyone will, it's part of why we're such underachievers. It's why we can afford to last out many many thousands of pounds a week on wages so attract "quality" strollers looking for a nice easy ride ("Theyve been in this Division for 5 years already and still turn up, so we don't have to bust a gut") as opposed to the hungry, hard working kids we see running past, over and through them so often.

I've said it before, but the two most regularly used phrases on here that are diametrically opposite each other "We're the biggest club in this League so should get promoted" and "Because we are the biggest club in this League doesnt mean we should get promoted" are both true. One of those needs to give before we can move forwards.

Superb

I stopped renewing years ago. I still went to most home games and the odd away one until recently but they're going to have to do a lot better to drag me up from Gloucestershire every other week.

I won't give up a large portion of my time and money for garbage.

For me it depends on whether the people who 'run' this football club show that they have the slightest idea how to actually run a football club.

Never been worth me having a ST because of work. However, the year I retire is the year the Prince predicted we would be back in the Premier League (2019) so will be up for it especially if he is right.
At current rate of progress more likely to be Northern Premier League but more affordable for a pensioner.

I'd renew if we got relegated. The board have made repeated errors but I don't think they've been sent here to destroy us. The squad is riddled with the gutless and the useless, but they'll be replaced eventually. And one day we will get promoted. It will happen.

Being "big" just gives you a better chance of promotion. Being incompetent reduces your chances. I don't see any great paradox there.

Yes. Blade through thick and thin. If I wanted to follow a successful team I'd just sit and home and watch Barcelona on the telly. While we might be languishing in the third tier it's still my club. Besides, what else is there to do on a Saturday?

Well being as how his family and Scarborough are owed nearly £50m it seems pretty reasonable to me that he should own the property (BDTBL, Shirecliffe & Crookes).

You are correct he charges rent but it doesn't even service the loan that we owe him.

He might not be Uncle Jack Walker but he isn't Mike Ashley either and without him we'd have been in Administration early in the last decade. Maybe you don't believe that either?

He was the person that sanctioned the spending that got us into so much debt.

I will not be renewing. My daughter reported me to "Child Line" for taking my grandson and I will probably be in prison as I intend to plead guilty.

Administration and defaulting on loans is apparently good for you...

To be honest for the first time in 30 years I was very close to not renewing this season after the sheer tedium of the football last year.

I will probably renew for next year, but not if we end up in League two.
