Yep I will be pissed off.

We are already missing out on a few players it seems.

Bouazza about to sign for Brummy and Routledge gone to QPR.

Edit: Brummy just landed Scott Sinclair on loan aswell.

I'd really like to see us go after Lita.

Lita and healy.... top of my list :D

Its just another January transfer window at BDTBL where the only sound is of silence. On the plus side we probably are going to be spared the Warnock era of 'one for the future' and look where that got us!!!

I expect more outgoings than incommings. Maybe a loan or two, but thats it.

It has been calculated that only 8% of transfers conducted in the January window can be classified as a success. Little wonder few of the big boys do any business at this time. Can be throwing good money at a problem that needs a different solution.

Bang on the button...........................
Remind me again: Why was cheap as chips given a contract extension ? Why did McCabe announce the Director of Football was no longer required ? Why is 'our terry' still lurking?

Don't seem very positive to me.

I would be more dissappointed if the squad was strengthened this window than if nowt happened...........Why ? ..... because the money would probably be squandered.......just look at the money thats been wasted !

Mid table ?

We could finish anywhere mid table upwards with our squad at the moment, we are no worse than all the clubs around us.
A bit of good luck and we get higher in the table, a bit of bad luck we don't.

We might sign a big name player and it could be a complete disaster or an unknown and it be a massive success (or vice versa).
You never can tell in Football but I prefer to look on the bright side rather than be a doom & gloom merchant.

UTB!

Why did McCabe announce the Director of Football was no longer required ?

He never announced this, he merely said the search was ongoing and that he'd probably have to assess the role required and it may not be a traditional Director of Football. His long term plans are to build a structured team to manage and facilitate all of our interests with the aim of maximising our potential.

Alreight Foxy i was going on 2nd hand info cause i never went ter meeting.
How long term? cause to me just now the management on the footballing side of McCabes empire is woefull !

On the other hand the soccer on the field is pretty good at the moment, so why worry?

Well, one of the players who has been playing in this 'pretty good' team has gone to another club. Just playing devil's advocate...

...along with saying he was relishing the prospect of playing for a team that plays good football. Hmmmm.

I’d sooner see us sign one quality player for 2-3 million then two or three
“Maybe good players” or “one for the future” or
“Did ok in some team no ones ever herd of in Scotland”.
