Will we sell out?

I’m well confused about block 205. I understand it’s normally club Wembley.

I just moved the seats for a better view as I was originally in 106.

I knew nothing about club Wembley. Are the seats padded? Is the concourse better equipped? Do I need to dress accordingly? Have I played a blinder?

So basically we won't be getting 525 and 526 in full? Not sure the allocation there either.
We won't be getting 525 and 526 full stop
Once again we're in a situation where we've got 500 mostly single seats scattered all over the place that probably won't get sold due to all the fucking about people do

Have they emailed out the tickets yet? Bought mine on Friday, no sign of any email yet. Anxious for no reason or do I need to chase them up?
They’ll be emailed out from today onwards mate, no need to worry about anything from my understanding, this was always the case too from what I can gather.

Good article on the financial cost of everything play-off related, and the FA’s attitude toward supporters.

Pretty good going to be fair for a club that’s horrendous at Wembley.

Utter chaos. Go back to the old way. Sell them from the club. Season ticket holders first etc.. Queuing round the car park during the night. Make friends for life . Everybody gets what they want. Pay by card. Get the tickets. Job done. Simples really.
In the good old days I camped out overnight & met a charming elderly couple who, to pass away the hours, built a scale model of Lincoln Cathedral out of matchsticks.

Decent article. I realised a long, long time ago that the FA are not interested in fans priorities. Appointing Gareth Southgate still rankles with me but that's not really what I meant! The Premier League even less so. Don't get me started on the Premier League! Ironic since we're doing our best to get there again!

Wembley say.... Yes, you can wear a replica football top in Block 205 at Wembley Stadium. There are no restrictions on wearing replica football tops inside the stadium. Just ensure you follow the stadium’s general policies, including the restricted bag policy and other event-specific rules. Enjoy your visit!

The changing of seats brigade is making it harder to know what we have sold, ger in your seats and enjoy your day, there's no bad view in wembley!!

I was getting a bit twitchy too. But it would’ve been nice if the club kept us in the loop.

I went down to the club shop yesterday which was busy and doing lots of business ,there was a feel of excitement in the air ,anyway I spoke to a couple who had been in the ticket office and they said as of 3pm yesterday we had sold 32.5k ,pretty good going because I thought we'd struggle, I know plenty of season ticket holders that aren't going down

Just received mine. But they’re for the initial seats l bought in block 124, before l swapped them for tickets in 523 and then changed to block 205 in case l’d missed owt!
Aye
You’ve got my ticket
Could you print it off for me &!bring it round to the entrance gate for 14:00- I want to get in to savour the atmosphere
Thanks awfully

Further to my moaning earlier about the shambles that has been tickets sales, I just rang the ticket office and the lady on the other end of the line fixed a change of seats for me and my 2 friends in 2 minutes from start to finish.
Total contrast to our setup, best described as an utter shambles, it's Krypton factor material just to speak to someone on the phone, even then it's probably better odds winning the lottery than it is to speak someone.

It's probably not healthy, but like most of us on here I feel a sense of pride and investment in how Sheffield United perform on and off the pitch. Wisely or not, the Blades are a big part of my identity.

It annoys me that there will unnecessarily be empty seats at the game on Saturday, or that we will give some of our allocation to Sunderland, just like it annoyed me when there were empty seats against Leeds, Bristol City and Manchester City for completely avoidable reasons. It presents the club that we love in an unflattering light and doesn't give the players or the fans the atmosphere they deserve.

We would've easily sold out our allocation for this game (while ensuring loyalty is rewarded) if we'd been more sensible with the system for selling tickets.

Phase 1: season ticket holders can buy two tickets each

Phase 2: everyone with a purchase history (plus some loyalty points if we're really that paranoid about Sunderland fans with a Sheffield United purchase history getting tickets in our end) can buy two tickets each

Phase 3: general sale (or at least general sale to those with a purchase history/ a certain number of loyalty points if worried about Sunderland fans buying tickets)

Almost exactly the same system could also be applied to big home games.

Additionally: communicate the system clearly before sales start, don't tell people tickets can't be amended when they can, respect the fact that people are paying hundreds of pounds to attend the game and let them pick their seats rather than constantly messing around with which blocks are on sale.

I'm sure some clubs have big enough fan bases to sell out even with our crazy restrictions. But we are a medium sized club from a working class city a long way from London, with a terrible record at Wembley. We should be making it as easy as possible to attend rather than throwing up barriers. As it is, we sell fewer tickets for these games than clubs with smaller fan bases because we actively/ incompetently put people off attending. And it harms the fan experience while making us look bad.

It's a testament to the commitment of our fans that we've sold as many tickets as we have.
