Will our system cope with Wilfried Zaha?

Incidents and results will be replayed time and again on this forum for years to come. League 1 and the Championship were great fun under Wilder but this season is where it's at.

To suggest promotion to the PL makes us unhappy is plainly ridiculous WWF. In fact it's fucking insulting. And as for my personal football education, I was weaned on Tony Currie, Alan Woodward et al so while it may not be as extensive as some, it's probably as broad as most when it comes to United. I want United to be playing the very best but it doesn't alter the fact that I don't go to watch the opposition. And I don't need your patronising bollocks to tell me what to expect from this season, I can work that out for myself. But unlike you, it seems, I won't glean any pleasure if Mo Salah, Harry Kane, Aguero or any other galactico scores a worldy against us...….it will still piss me off in the same way it did when the likes of Scunthorpe and Shrewsbury were beating us!

But now there is VAR. Will there be fewer or more? Nobody knows. I do believe Zaha was not favoured by refs last season, they do have their own agenda.

As I see it, the three points rest right there with him but I am looking forward to watching the lad perform. I'd prefer him to take 'garden leave' mind you!

Whatever happens it will be a privilege to watch the lad and the rest of their team who are all seasoned P.L. players and not there to hand us a great day out and a celebration on the S2 return to the Premier League. They will be targeting the points against the favourites to be relegated. Bring it on!

Hope you enjoyed watching the mighty Wilf today WWF............personally, I enjoyed watching all those no hopes in red and white. Had a great day. I thought your superhero was crap by the way :p
 
I've rated Wilder 10/10. Zaha had two men on him whenever he got the ball. Yet we made no apparent sacrifices elsewhere.

The shape, workrate and skill levels were phenomenal. 1 goal did not do us justice. Zahra was frustrated. Townsend was never in it. Wonderful day.

Yes Bayingblade you said you go to see us win and only watch us, you'll be happy.

You will know though that Wilder treated Zaha with respect enough to have two, sometimes three players closing him down and that's how 'our system coped with Wilfried Zaha', the purpose of the thread. There rested the destiny of the three points, in my opinion anyway.

Leicester will provide more all-round dangers and I would have provided a thread to encourage discussion of their strengths and weaknesses as I have a Leicester pal with whom I correspond regularly.

Frankly it's not worth the effort.

I have absolutely no problem discussing the strengths and weaknesses of the forthcoming opposition, WWF. What I do have a problem with is those who think we should be "privileged" to watch them as they deign to grace our paupers surroundings with their worldly talents. Bollocks to that. If Saturday is a benchmark (and I hope it is), those who attend Bramall Lane this season to fawn over the multi-million pound visiting galacticos might be a little disappointed.
 
After Wilfred's first half antics I was particularly looking forward to having a dig at him in the second half from the kop. Alas, he never got near it.

Room in S2 for both of us.

Privilege to watch Vardy &Co on Saturday. Bigger privilege as ever to watch Wilder's charges. Brilliant.

Championship was like pub football😘
