He's the top scorer in the FA Cup.
Also third top Derby scorer.
Jebbo got 9 for Burton in 23 apps, 1,475 minutes.
Osula so far 5 in 14, 623 minutes.
Release rage ballHaving watched him in his last two matches, he has the potential to go all the way yet miles off it at the moment as he has to learn when and how to make runs and release rage ball etc. Also needs to be more physical.
Update on how he's going here
...bit like Macatee ?But barely starts league games, strange.
Yes not very good....bit like Macatee ?
Both Jebbo and Osula have showed promise, with well managed teams. Both scoring goals at the old 3rd division level. Osula would do well to learn the game under Warne, with McGoldrick as his mentor.
When we arrive in the PL, he should get a season at championship level on loan.
In your view he's not good enough then? I was simply extrapolating a similar trajectory for him, to the one that occured with Jebbinson! My main point was, if we do get promoted, Osula won't be ready for inclusion in the PL squad. He hasn't tied down a starting spot at Derby, or scored more than a couple in the league.
He's a prospect, but I don't think he'll have a queue of teams wanting to take him at Championship level, that will also play him regularly enough to develop him.

In fact we agree that he has potential, but he's not ready yet as a full squad member. We are only amateurs, expressing an opinion after all.![]()

I extrapolated a trajectory once and my wife made me wash the curtains.
There's been so many experts on here expressing their opinion about 'if a player is good enough'.
I can recall McBurnie wasn't good enough for the Championship. League 1 at best.
But the management team at the Lane led by the totally underrated Hecky are making players perform better.
I have every confidence in Hecky and co. making something of Jebbison and Osula.
Show offI extrapolated a trajectory once and my wife made me wash the curtains.
So you think Jebbison is ready for championship footballOsula won't be ready for PL football. Nor is he seemingly ready for Championship football, given his performances (or lack of) in League 1.
He needs to play regular football somewhere to develop. Unless that happens in the second half of this season and he does very well, then next season his level will be League 1 again - but somewhere where he's a guaranteed starter.
Jebbison could have done with a move to a Rotherham / Wigan type at the beginning of this season. He'd proven himself in League 1, as you'd trust that if he'd stayed at Burton he'd have scored 15-20 goals eventually. A very respectable tally for one so young.
For what it's worth, I think Osula is the better prospect of the two but he isn't getting the same opportunities.
So you think Jebbison is ready for championship football
Based on what 9 goals at Burton and looking out of his depth at this level admittedly with the limited opportunities he’s had
Osula has looked much more apt especially physically with the same amount of game time opportunities at this level
Didn't start, but he replaced Didzy at 72 minutes. Time enough to score against the Owls?Hope he starts today and has a blinder, cmon Big Willy!
