Just watched his two goals.
Pace power and two great early strikes. I think we may have a striker on the books who scores goals !!
He scored with either foot: he will not fit in so get rid now !!

There's a reason Hecky was playing him ahead of Jebbison during our striker injury crises. There's something there for sure. Early days.

Just hope we don't make the same mistake with Osula as we did with Jebbison.

He was having a pretty decent time on loan at Burton last season (9 goals in 17 starts) before we recalled him in the middle of an injury crisis.

We then proceeded to barely play him for 6 months, giving him odd 10-minute cameos here and there.

He now hasn't scored in 14 matches, looks bereft of confidence and seems to have taken a step back in his development. We can't get tempted to recall Osula and do the same thing to him.

Osula and Jebbison both needed season long loans with no re calls.

Just seen the goals, great finishing for both of them.

Osula is maturing, physically, faster than Jebbo (in my opinion). At Stoke, away, last season (we lost the game), he was brought on for the final 10 minutes and caused carnage with his pace and power, down the wings, and was knocking off defenders as if they were lightweights. He didn't score, but he looked like a man, in a man's game, rather than a boy in a man's game.

No disresect to Jebbo, by the way, but Osula has bulk on his frame and can still run quickly, with a great split-second shot, at the end of it.

...but he is better than Jebbison so if recalled would likely play more often. If we don’t need him then he can be the Premiership top scorer in 2023/24 !

I also watched him playing for Derby.
took his goals v well, has all the attributes needed to be a v good striker, strong, fast, good with both feet but currently miles away from where he needs to be to play championship football.
insinct of knowing how and when to make runs comes over a period of time unless you are an exceptional talent. He needs to stay out on loan for at least another six months.
let’s hope Brewster and Jebbo are good to play in January

Starts tonight’s game, live on BBC 3 for anyone interested.

Having mcgoldrick and Osula play against a side at the bottom of the conference is cruel.

How's he been playing at L1 level?
Seen him scoring a few against lower league teams in Cups, but not so much outside of that. Need a Roygbiv roundup... ;)

Osula scores for the Rams and then goal assists the 3rd goal the Rams score tonight against Torquay. Having a good game tonight, so is ex Blade McGoldrick

Bit unplayable tonight Osula when he breaks with pace - against a slow defence of course. Best thing is he looks like he's really loving it.

Osula looks like a very complete player: pace, power, good technique, great finisher. Big qualification is that he's playing against a team who don't seem that bothered about defending.

Can we do a swap over with Jebbison in January

While watching Osula, let it be said that Dids can still hit a great through ball

Derby are on sky in the league on Friday night. A much better way to judge Osula than against this lot but I do like the raw materials he has.

Osula to replace Ndiaye when he gets sold after scoring a hatrick against England

Not really , he is nowhere near as skillful as Ndiaye ,they are completely different types of players . But they will look good together in the future something to look forward too !
