I presume that the interviews are down to once a week at the moment, preseason training and transfers will be busy.

If we get that sort of shit then you know nothing's going to happen. The use of that imaginary line is indicative of what comes next which is "just couldn't get it over the line". It's the old trick of, wait until you've got some good news to share, when delivering bad news.

So, when we eventually sign someone, that's when he'll come out and talk about Brooks departure. And I could write that script for him now...
