Wilders thrown us under the bus

Like every other football manager they do what is best for themselves, which is not a criticism of them. Who wouldn't look after #1 first and foremost.
Very true, but they don’t all deliberately shaft their boyhood club in the process, while somehow convincing most people that they are actually some sort of legendary hero.

I dont kno nothing at all cos I'm a Wendy obsessive

But I do know that CW was not impressed when the Prince won...

I laughed at the time.
I'm not laughing now.

One of the weird things about occasionally knowing shit is that you assume everyone else does too.....

Who agrees

The best time to leave us and 'throw us under a bus' would have been at the end of last season after finishing 9th.

He could have probably secured a better paid job elsewhere with better terms.

Instead he thought 'you know what I'll stay in order for losers like Hblockblade to feel better.'

Some of the cunts who attach themselves to this club deserve to be thrown under a fucking bus.

Then reversed over...
I mean, hyperbole aside, this works both ways.

The majority are frothing at the gash to go to one of the extremes. It's either...

"fucking Abdullah fucking over this club. Doesn't fucking care about poor Wilder."

Or... well... the OP.

Why can't it be a case of both making errors and both being unlucky the way things have unfortunately turned out?

Hi Stegosaurus here

I agree.

The hero worship of him on here reminds me of Trump supporters. Surprised they haven't stormed Bramall Lane wearing Make United Great Again hats

As much as i have loved the good years i think wilder lost his way and went out the back door a thing he said he would never do.
Bit dissapointed in him although nobody knows the facts so were all blaming someone perhaps wrongly

Harsh, considering most Blades have just had the best years of their lives. Mulder and Scully will be along shortly to remind us that the truth is still out there and we will all need a passage of time to get proper perspective of recent events. For me, I'm still as high as a kite on bounce killers, promotions, tv pundits queuing up to praise our club and our now former manager and non Blades I know stopping me in the street to discuss Sheffield United.

Thrown us under a bus?
Then:
We were bottom of L1.
Poor football.
Poor squad.
Poor crowds.
Disunity.
Fans who’d lost all faith.

Now:
Two years in the PL with the riches and publicity it brings.
5 years packed with great memories.
Fans with new expectations and belief.
An excellent Championship squad packed full of potential.
FA Cup QF.

No, I don’t think he’s thrown us under a bus. Left us far superior to how he found us. Like many Blades, he’s raised your expectations through our recent journey. Clearly, you’ve forgotten the past and the fact we are not an established PL Club. Much better to just say thank you to Chris and move on.

Because to some people, it has to be a binary choice. Whether it's Prince / Wilder or Government / Covid response.

They have to pick a side one has to be bad, one has to be good. The truth is that with anything in life, there are always shades in between.

The jury is out on The Prince for me. As for Wilder, he's given us a wonderful few years, truly the Wilder era. But that cannot mean he is without blame.

We need to move on, some people are coming across like their lass has walked, and they're clinging on in the hope she will come back, and starting to look a bit desperate.

We need to move on, heal, wait for better days.

Wilder was in an awful place
He felt responsible for what will end as our worst ever season results wise in the league.
Other externarnal events .loss of crowds covid in general reduced income to that expected addaed to the events

Being a blade probably worked against him in this scenario
. He felt too much

Crab and Houso have hit the nail on the head. It's down to both the Board and Wilder. Ultimately the vast majority of our fans know that.

Wilder gave us our best years in decades but ultimately has us bottom of the league miles away from safety. If he wasnt a blade most on here would have been calling for his head at Xmas.

The Prince backed Wilder to an extent McCabe never would have ..even if it is TV money that's been spent.. However he pulled the rug when we needed more backing and has ultimately driven the man best placed to bring us back up out of the club.

It's a mess but no way is it just down to one party.

It’s the occasional truths that get you, in the end.
