Very true. Though the contrast between this season and last is interesting. My personal theory is that Wilder put a fiver on us to go down this season at the bookies and he's just making sure his bet comes in.The best time to leave us and 'throw us under a bus' would have been at the end of last season after finishing 9th.
He could have probably secured a better paid job elsewhere with better terms.
Instead he thought 'you know what I'll stay in order for losers like Hblockblade to feel better.'
Would love to be able to do that. I would then get invited to all the best parties.Yeh I think I do, but it would be wasted on pretty much everyone on here who still thinks the red and white sun shines out of his arse.
Animal farm was prophetic of course but how many of us actually thought they would literally don clothes and walk upright?
I agree.Wilder was in an awful place
He felt responsible for what will end as our worst ever season results wise in the league.
Other externarnal events .loss of crowds covid in general reduced income to that expected addaed to the events
Being a blade probably worked against him in this scenario
. He felt too much

I'm sure it was! Reminds me of the time I searched for the Forbidden Planet stores on the world wide internet web on the works computer but inadvertently got a very different kind of forbidden planet....Must have been a different version i saw back in the day.
Most of their clothes were coming off....
It’s the premier league - getting there does that to supporters. You’d never understand.Hi Stegosaurus here
I agree.
The hero worship of him on here reminds me of Trump supporters. Surprised they haven't stormed Bramall Lane wearing Make United Great Again hats

Without knowing the slightest bit of what happened how can anyone form a sensible opinion ?Who agrees
If he wasnt a blade most on here would have been calling for his head at Xmas.
I still don't think more than 1% of the fanbase wanted him to actually goYou’re probably right, but it’s a depressing thought.
I wouldn’t have cared if he was Gary Megson - anyone who ridiculously overachieves for 4 consecutive years mustn’t be judged by those abnormal standards. Blades fan or not, he gets another year’s support from me.

Not me my old ChinaWho agrees
Do you know something I don't? I don't see where United have been deliberately shafted.
Could’ve gone to many bigger clubs last year. Stayed. Loves the club as much as we do. Sometimes it’s time to move on. Let’s hope we get a manager that gets us promoted next season.Me. Gone to progress his career. Doesn’t really care about the Blades.
Tomorrow.another poll would be fantastic on this very subject - can someone arrange it?
When does the season end.....................
UTB
Agreed.Sick of all this sentimental clap trap , two blokes disagree and neither will shift from their way enough to sort the situation out.
People have taken sides but no on knows wtf has gone off , from being very pro Wilder a week ago I have jumped on the fence ... princey is taking a lot of flak from some , maybe underserved.
There is as much chance Wilder has jumped ship for one reason or another than the prince has forced him out because of unreasonable demands from Wilder
Or reminds you of the bowing to Chansiri at York or wherever it was?Hi Stegosaurus here
I agree.

I’m guessing only a very small group of friends...loyalty, trust, basic respect not high on the list and single?Who agrees

I think there's some fairness in acknowledgement that there could be fault on both sides. But one loves the club and has given us the best period we're ever likely to enjoy as blades and it's clear to see that the club means to him what it does to us. The other has no emotional attachment to it. No track record of doing anything special for us and has shown complete disrespect in terms of the Comms coming out of the club in the last week. Any attempt at balance ought to bear the weight of these factors.I mean, hyperbole aside, this works both ways.
The majority are frothing at the gash to go to one of the extremes. It's either...
"fucking Abdullah fucking over this club. Doesn't fucking care about poor Wilder."
Or... well... the OP.
Why can't it be a case of both making errors and both being unlucky the way things have unfortunately turned out?
