We can't ditch yet another manager
Well its certainly not been helping usIt's 100 days since Wilder replaced Adkins. We can't ditch yet another manager, this time round we have to give it some time. The constant merry go round is damaging the club.
Well its certainly not been helping us
I have to question why we are giving out 3 year contracts to everyone (managers and players) it just feels like we are not learning from our past lessons. Why don't we make them earn a longer contract. I'd put a bet if our playing staff/ managers only had a year contract you'll see them give a lot more.

Then I expect him to publicly say why, and what he thinks is making the job impossible.
He won't be under a compromise agreement if he resigns, so nothing stopping him....
Imagine that he walks and those players that he signed, only signed because of him.
That doesn't even bare thinking about.
He sounds like a man crumbling tbh and sounds like a man wrestling with telling the truth and towing the party line.
Show me a manager that has never made a bad signing.
Should have gone steaming in, shown them he cares, gone round every single player and criticised every single one of them and walked out and waited on the coach.
Don't tell us he's missed the coach back.
Twitter... "Signings struggling to cope...."
I think the manager is STRUGGLING to cope more than the players.
The manager is the leader, if he can't lead, how can the players be expected to follow.
Blindly? Hoping that it might work?
Lots of football between today and end of September....
If the atmosphere is bad today and there's little significant improvement,
they'll all be struggling to cope... even more so.
Wonder if he regrets not going to Charlton Athletic?
The first XI wouldn't win the champions league by any stretch but Wilder's inability to get this group showing any sort of cohesion is very worrying.
Further to that, we've sold our 2 best players once again.
Worrying times for Sheff Utd. Is this the season we drop out of League one?
His all persona at the match today was a worry . Heard the bloke is giving the players a miss until Monday morning and not going back to Sheffield with the team
To me he is reflecting on his own future and wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't tender his resignation Next week.
The emotional side , responsibility is too much and I think he realises the mistake he has made . This is not going to work out with a happy ending.
Wilder and the club can still come out of the this with a bit of dignity.
Sadly shot and no were to go .
Exactly, and his CV since leaving us shows what a correct decision that was, just ask the Rotherham fans for example.Warnock the man who took and was allowed to take by the club and fans about 6-7 years to get us up, then fucked up embarrassingly old fool that we are well rid of.
We are a patient lot as you very well know . it's Wilder who does the ranting , which just rubs off on all .
The players are shell shocked , like us , Wilder , club.
Piss poor players brought in to replace piss poor players , that's the root cause .
If any of that back 4 were the recommendation of the new scout bloke , he wants sacking .
Long way to go before first 3 points .
Contrast the way he spoke about George Long with the hesitation when he starts to explain the Brayford loan and his unconvincing agreement that the money saved will result in new players. It does seem clear to me that Brayford had to go if Wilder wants to strengthen MF and CB.
"We believed that we needed to errr take John,, errr,,,we believe we need to freshen it up a little bit and maybe to release some money to errr maybe put elsewhere and strengthen the squad and I thought Kieron Freeman was outstanding today and errr you know he's not played a lot of football and for him to come here and play like he did we had confidence in Kieron, that could step in so there was a situation where Nigel Clough had spoke to me previously about him and I just thought it was the best decision. Best decision for John, best decision maybe for us, maybe best decision financially as well to do that. I've got no regrets on that, no regrets on that and errr. Kieron came in and will only get better, young player errr and one that will errr, hopefully kick on."
in answer to the question about Brayford being off the wage bill freeing funds for new players "yep, yep it could do" and then he diverts into saying, repeatedly, it was his decision for Brayford to go.
The question not asked was how someone transfer-listed from day 1 and deemed not part of the group was suddenly someone "underneath" who could step in and do a good job. Nor was he asked whether the reason for the difficulties in landing players and for Brayford going is because of financial constraints and pressure from the Chief Exec and the Board to cut the wage bill, but it was RS asking the questions.
We've had a few who wouldn't admit to it![]()
Sounds to me like to he is a yes man, doing what he is told, making out as though we have as good a player in freeman and therefore good business for the club etc, no funds are really freed up if we are paying 2/3 of brayfords wages still.
you know it's funny watching people get their knickers in a twist about Ched yet seem totally oblivious to the fact that we are directly connected to a regime that funds Wahhabism throughout the world with disastrous consequences
Wilder proclaimed Freeman as outstanding today. I think he's our new right back.
Good point, however Toby Fucking Foster on Radio Pig made a big deal at the time of our 'Saudi connections' re. their yooman rights record. Not a peep about Chansiri and the excellent record of such things in Thailand...
Other 'foreign owners' in English football come from egimes which aren't whiter than white.
But at the moment, I'd accept ISIS and Jihadi John as owners because success makes people forget...
Agree from a fans perspective - but unfortunately it's treated as a business and profit and loss all go on the same accountsIf McCabe's decision to sack a manager, that's his decision, the financial implications will have been taken into account and that should be treated completely independently. Player sales shouldn't be used to cover it.
Totally agree B4 and if I look back 1 or 2 seasons ago I probabley posted something similar when I was more frustrated with the fans than the players and still thought we were going to turn it round. I don't agree with geering players mistakes but I think what's happening is fan by fan the feeling of dispare is taking over. You have a slightly longer fuse maybe.I knew that saying what I've said would annoy some fans and what I'm saying is we don't want the ironic cheers for when players don't make mistakes like what George Long received. We can turn up in numbers and back the team. Yes we do that most weeks but also we need to realise that we can't expect to win but we need to do our bit by cheering and chanting as opposed to expecting in silence and then booing when one down etc. Its all as a result of 6 years in this league etc, but it just lifts the opposition. I always love it when our fans chant straight after the opposition score as it jeers up our players and shows them that we don't just cheer when we're winning, which sadly doesn't happen much of late! Hope that makes sense mate?
Yeah one spends his money on the team the other lives in a desertThe Prince is a member of the ruling family and a government official. Chansiri is a private citizen. There is a difference.
