We’re a very young side getting to know each other & learning a new system. It’s a work in progress, of course there’s room for improvement. I expect that improvement to take place incrementally over the course of the season. What are your expectations?

Which is correct, when you deduct the two own goals from our tally ( before today) then we have scored the same as the bottom three.

So when all the experts came on and said we should attack, attack, attack Leeds they showed how naive they really are.
Opinions are fine but sometimes it helps to use facts rather than just blind faith.

Maybe when/if the strikeforce gels Wilder will set up be more attacking.

all teams have in 95 % OF GAMES ,have to grind out 1 or 2 goal wins

in fergies period of great success 93 till he left they won 68 % of their wins by the odd goal

theres just an element who just have expectations that by any standard are unrealistic
we are a reasonably well run club high achieving on comparison to the funds we have , or closer to the truth, dont have
to win a place in the prem 3 times in 6 years is in reality awesome , we know we cant at present match wages or transfer fees to stay up but increasingly any promoted club is finding it hard
look how wolves are slumping now they cant get cheap portuguese stars in

and we are getting 2 poiints per game yet again,,,,, but still some whinge

Playing the the lone striker roll is difficult, McBurnie did it last season he put the effort in.
Showing for the ball he touched it 9 times in the Middlesbrough game, got beat to the ball by the central defender who started behind him when our defender's cleared the ball.
He barely wins headers and his first touch is horrendous.
He got a goal today I'm not entirely sure he knew much about it but a goal is a goal, but he also missed a excellent chance with the header.
I still stand by my prediction that he'll not get into double figures this season.
Not having a striker who comfortably gets double figures is what is going to cost us this season.
