I think most weren't happy he came back?

I was happy he was reappointed as I felt the club needed the right person for the rebuild and he knows what is needed to be a Sheffield United player and challenge for promotion.

So FAR his recruitment has been spot on for me, further signings to come aswell. His record at signings below the PL is excellent aswell.

Also nearly every signing mentions CW chats and persuasion that made their decisions easy.

Anyone changed their opinion slightly?

I’m somewhat more sympathetic about the shit from above that he’s having to put up with. And despite that, the signings look pretty good. But we need more bodies

All things considered, I think Wilder is putting together a very sensible team. At least I can see some logic to our recruitment. We’re still short in terms of squad numbers but our strongest 11 will be competitive in this league.

I wasn't against him coming back--it was anybody but Hecky for me. But I did hope we'd move him on at the end of the season and have a fresh start with someone new.

It looks to me like he's played a blinder this summer. Brought in some good players, got the team to gel already and playing attractive, attacking football. It won't count for anything if we don't do it in competitive games but for the moment I'm back on the Wilder bandwagon.
