No way..........just can't see it.

He is building summat special at his own club so why would he? And I don't believe for a minute that £££ would tempt him

Alright I'm really asking for trouble here but I'll say it....

Why do people think Wilder will put his love for the Blades over progress in his career?

He could probably triple his wages and be a premier league manager in 12 months time potentially, and leave us on a real high. I wouldn't bet on Sunderland approaching him, but if they did I don't think he would turn them down and wouldn't blame him, would be delighted to be proved wrong as always.

His stock is high. Even if he has a poor to average championship season, his progress in 3 years is unparalleled. He can afford to have a season or two with the blades and can still attract other positions.

Up to our owners to also convince him he's got something special here and we have to achieve it together. If that means giving him some additional incentive then so be it.

It'll be some shit rumour spread around Sunderland and they'll have gone rushing off to the bookies cos they're daft twats.

Seriously their board probably don't know who Chris Wilder is

Karanka will be their new manager. Lives in the area still and has unfinished business in English football.

I'd be skeptical of that if only because they've got marco silva at 7/1 nevermind Tufty

Annoying that Moyes resigned as they've been linked with him but not overly worried. I would expect Nigel Pearson and Marko Silva to be more likely.

United a club on the up, the basis of a good team and a modest amount of money to spend or Sunderland a team that has been on a downward spiral for two years but has parachute payments? Not much to pick between them in size but you would need to start again from scratch at Sunderland hardly seems worth uprooting the family to go to that shithole no matter how much they pay. I would say it is a non starter but we will get more of this stuff in the media good managers attract speculation from the press.

Why do people panic because the early odds are low.

I don't know a lot about betting, but surely the bookies play it cagey early on, until it becomes clear who they are going for, or if there are some serious bets for one man!

It's more likely I will be the next Sunderland manager than Wilder.

Only clubs he would go to now would be the proper big boys. Sunderland are historically no bigger or better than us. If we get the next two to three years right we could have a prolonged spell in the top division just like they have had. Why would he give up that with his club to go to that basket case?

Because we're in the same league and Sunderland is a poisoned chalice.

Hopefully Pardew goes here and Notes goes to pigs
