Let's not suddenly start panicking and running round with our pants on fire. We were 1 or 2 players off having a really competitive team. Even if we don't manage to get them in, we still have a really strong squad.

I'll remind people, if Hull and Millwall can make the play offs last season, there's no reason we can't.

I admire your optimism (potentially misguided) thinking we are looking at promotion.

We’ll see. Windows not closed yet, we’re 2/3 players short so need 2/3 in. Whereas if things are as bad as Wilders face suggests it is we might see 2/3 more going out.

Owners have realised they had their pants down at £100m. Thought they would make quick $’s but now they are looking at a huge loss and trying not to pay the agreed price.

My guess is we will be up for sale within a few months as soon as we know if EFL are going to take action. That action might be the EFL and IFR forcing owners to sell if as I understand it is within their power.

Our season is about avoiding religation.

Well we don't really know that how complicated it is. Or what our current overlords are thinking at all.

I reckon there is more to it than what we know so far just purely based on the absolute silence from one side of the conflict.

They're twats- who bought something that they thought could earn them some 50 million in 6 months in that there 'soccer thing', but they did 4 seconds due dilligence, because any one with half a brain cell could see that we were far from a 'sure thing'

The King moaners on 'ere that shout daily about Wilder being shit - V1 good but V2 and V3 wank are spouting rubbish. The presser today by Chris was nothing short of excellent - he spoke so well in circumstances that are obviously dire. Of course he looked a bit down who wouldn't be.

There is literally no other manager right now that can hold this together better than him, FFS forget all your petty thoughts. The team and him need backing vocally to the hilt.

The reality now is that whilst at the start of the summer we had an ok squad which needed some additions, we were always going to sell some, but we needed to wheel and deal to keep us in that midtable/ top 8 position.

We’ve done very little business other than replace Brooks with a loan and bring in Phillips after renewing Reidewalde to a very solid centre mid.

We need to do some more business before the close and we need many of last seasons underperformers to be on top of their hame

After what has gone on so far this week and listening to the presser, I needed some therapy. I went onto YouTube and searched ‘Greasy Chip Butty’. There are a few versions on there recorded both at the Lane and Wembley. That was just the tonic I needed.
