I’ll give criticism when it’s warranted and praise when it’s warranted, 1 good first half performance and a reasonable 2nd half doesn’t turn us into prime Madrid. The empty seats and library atmosphere is giving you a clue to what supporters are thinking.

I’d agree with this, it was a good result and decent performance, but it looked like two poor/average Championship teams.

Still plenty of improvement needed to change my mind on this team and Wilder.

Agreed, but on the plus side, "average" really does cover most of the division this year. I'm yet to be impressed with anyone.

The standard is shocking,I expected it to be much higher in the division. We have played well perhaps twice this season and we are in the top half, shows how poor the other are.

Acid test is yet to come . Let’s see where we are going into JTW and what the yanks do about it

Be no changing your mind its already made up.
Yeah fair enough, Wit, I’ll give you that one, yesterday was a really good performance.

It’s gonna take a few more to change my mind but I enjoyed watching us yesterday for a change.

Well half, at least you admit it was a really good performance, and thats fair play.

Ive not looked yet, but i'll wager , on seeing the team sheet at 7pm several nappies were immediately soaking.

It’s still Wilder Out for me and I’ll still go back to what I said a few weeks back, let him go when we’re mathematically safe or cannot reach the playoffs.

Let’s be first on the market for a new manager / coaching staff before the season finishes. That will hopefully give a lot of decent managers the chance to think about us as a prospect. Aim to get someone announced as soon as the season finishes so they get a full summer before the new season starts.

I don't think who is on the team sheet particularly matters, if we'd had last night's starting line-up with last week's tactics it would have been bloody awful.

Last night's tactics with last week's team would be slightly less good as no Donovan but short passing where we take the game to the opposition would suit Cannon more than aimless lumping it where the ball never gets near him.

Hopefully the more positive approach and playing football continues. Part of the reason why a lot of people question Wilder is the wild;y inconsistent or non-existent tactics where after a good performance or two, we suddenly revert to playing like strangers who can't pass to each other. Establish a more reliable, positive approach and a lot of the people who want him out or question him will be happy enough for him to stay.

Has to be pointed out it was against a really, really bad Wrexham team as well. Hopefully we can show a bit more consistency and confidence over the next few fixtures.

Good result and happy to beat the Hollywood 12 but the team still feels like an outlier even with other recent positive results. I'll feel better when we achieve a level of consistency with players in their strongest positions. Like wilder said in his presser, long way to go yet. I'm more optimistic as we've seen Donavon play from the start and may have seen a decent way forward with BBD and Ayew.

Let's see who his first team is once more selections are available to better measure this paradigm shift.

We all accept the financial position we are in and the loans and signings are what they are and cant be changed for tje time being. I feel that the majority of the fan base will be a lot happier if we play a more positive style of football like last night with round pegs in round holes.. 4/4/2 suits our current squad and if we play with 2 attacking widemen and 2 up front we will at least have something positive to watch. The following team will give most a good game.
Cooper
Seriki Tanganga Kitching Burrows
Donovan Peck Phillips Chong
Bamford Ayew or BBD

Still out for me . Wants British only and his tactics are awful in general . Need to change the entire structure. Yes he was shafted in summer but he had frees and loans weeks before window shut to get decent position players in

For what he did in getting us from the pub league to the prem and his record against the pigs, Wilder will always have credit in the bank from me. However, it is increasingly infuriating to me why he refuses to sign any foreign players. That is where the value is. That is where you can pick up a gem for a fraction of the price Cannon cost. So reluctantly, unless he can overcome this weird obsession with only signing UK and Irish players then he's got to go at the end of the season whatever happens. It is just unsustainable these days for a Championship club to achieve any real success when the pond you are fishing in is so small - especially with our budget.

And for those who say....... yes but you need to have the recruitment infrastructure in place to do that..... well that's correct, but apart from his brief time away from the club he's had 10 years to put this in place. So sorry Chris, but the recruitment argument is on you too.

They were very poor, for a change,Wilder outwitted Parky. I thought Parkinson has done a good job there but change will be looming as he’s taken them as far as he could. If we had lost, then Wilder would also have been up shit creek.

It was a lot better, and actually enjoyed most of the first half, but that's from a very low baseline. It was great to beat Hollywood, but they were abject.
I still think CW has run his race.

Considering the sales we needed to make and how it gutted the creativity I think we are doing very well 🤷‍♂️

I don't see what another manager could do really other than play Donovan more.
