In your opinion. I’m entitled to mine.Utter bollocks.
There’s another round of talks to come tomorrow so don’t expect to hear anything else todayAny statement from either CW or club yet ?
Sorry Ben,I was a tad rude there. It's only my opinion. Not personal. I'm just so disappointed with the situation. In your opinion. I’m entitled to mine.
All those things you bring up as negatives “strong arm the board”. He’s doing that for the club not for himself. If I could strong arm the board into signing players to keep our club moving i would, any blade fan would, alas I can’t. But wilder could and wilder loved this club and was ambitious. Don’t worry the prince will probably assign his yes man and we’ll just f****ng stagnate in the championship forever nowI would of course have preferred CW to stay and think if the majority of the squad had stayed in tact next year, supplemented by a couple of signings and a few loans, they would have been well placed to challenge. However, the cracks have been evident for quite some time. I was never a fan of how CW used his stock value to get his way with the Board previously including securing several pay increases - the flirtation with Sunderland left a particularly bitter taste. Similarly, I don't like how he attempted to publicly strongarm the Board into agreeing to what he wants for next season. Yes, he has done a magnificent job during his tenure but from the Board's perspective, you can't allow an employee to dictate terms that way, no matter how important they are.
The differences in opinion between the Board and CW in how the club, particularly recruitment, will operate moving forward appeared to be untenable so perhaps now is the right time for a split. There is essentially nothing to play for this season (barring a miracle in the cup v Chelsea) so it gives the club time to sort a DoF (is that is indeed the route they intend to go down) and a head coach and of course put in place plans for the squad.
All these people saying they're done with the club and publicly abusing the owner and Board need to grow up and consider their actions. No person is bigger than the club and they are the current custodians of it. Personally, I don't support the owners, the Board, or CW, I always have been and always will be a supporter of the club no matter how they're well or badly they're doing.

Yeah but this is S2. We’re not thick on here, we have none of that shit.....You've only to look on FB and these pages to see the idiots amongst us.
Players must be feeling the same. Not the ideal preparation for Leicester tomorrowI’m a bit fucked off that the club haven’t given us any information at all. Unless they’re still doing everything in there power to get Chris to stay, why would they not just say “wilder has left his position, subject to severance” or something along those lines. At the minute there silence is deafening and it’s just fuelling rumours.
Oh that’s going to be a blood bath. I’m still not sure hecky could take charge after managing the 23’s yesterday given what the covid protocol is.Players must be feeling the same. Not the ideal preparation for Leicester tomorrow
Couldn't agree more mate, Well saidAbsolutely spot on.

Possibly so but based on what ? He was the highest paid employee at the club. His moaning and groaning in recent weeks has hacked plenty off including me. I can cope with going down and if the Chris Wilder of the last few years were in charge great. The current version is not for me to be honest. Good luck to him and huge thanks ms for giving us our pride back but I am not sure Chris is looking out for everyone else right now.I suspect Chris wouldn't go without agreeing a settlement or the backroom staff, as well as himself.
I believe there was a sticking point last time he signed a new contract that he wouldn't do it until everyone else had a fair offer as well.Possibly so but based on what ? I hope so I really do and as you say up until the last few months has always come across that way.I believe there was a sticking point last time he signed a new contract that he wouldn't do it until everyone else had a fair offer as well.
I'm not a fan of the current toys out of pram Chris, but he seems a decent bloke in terms of looking after people.
