Wilder - Get Rid Now, or After Last Game

Last season was a struggle to watch most of the time but we were getting results.

This season has been nothing short of a disgrace. Any other manager that didn't have a cliq like wilder would been getting their marching orders at end of the season.

We'll continue to go backwards, and possibly downwards, whilst ever he remains in charge

I kind of wish he would resign , done the job he was brought in for to keep us up , I'm just not confident in them upstairs to bring a decent replacement in , I try to be positive but I can see us back in league 1

Very happy to be at home with a cuppa. No way was I staying to clap them because, apart from Seriki, Brooks, Peck and Arblaster I don’t like them and feel zero connection with them. I include the manager and coaching staff in that. I wish we could clear the lot out and start afresh.

PNE’s squad cost a fraction of ours in transfer fees and wages but will probably finish above us in the table. Given where we currently find ourselves as a club I envy them their manager.

They ( Preston fans ) do not rate him and would I have him back would I uck and do I want the present manager do I uck

Conceding 6 goals against Preston North End in a season should be a sackable offence in my opinion.

Preston average 1.12 goals per game this season and have scored 10 less than us overall, despite how shit we’ve been. We’ve conceded 3 goals against them twice.

They’ve also scored 3 goals twice against the pigs, and once against Stoke. Hecky is widely criticised by them for playing boring football and not scoring enough goals.

You don’t let Preston score 3 goals against you twice in a season unless you are a joke of a team.

Presser as expected.
'It'll 100% be better next season"
'Can't deal with set pieces' (why TF not??!!)
"Nothing tactical" today - obviously
Spoken to the owners and thanked for their support
'Big summer ahead'

Come on COH - another season of this isn't anything to look forward to at all

Admittedly I haven't been a regular this season but I'm trying to remember the last time I saw a United team as 'flat' and lifeless as that first half performance. Even when we were getting regularly tonked last time we were in the prem, we showed more fight and spirit. Two possible options for me: either we give Wilder a substantial wedge to rebuild with (unlikely) or we change the manager.

The very last thing you do is give Wilder money to spend. He’s shit at it. The only point in keeping him on is the absence of money.

CW has lost 17 games. Both Leicester and Oxford have lost less than us over the season.
Sufc have lost 29 points from winning positions
We have been awful since end of February and CW has proved incapable of affecting the situation.
Norwich and Southampton both changed managers at around the same time. 1 is in the playoffs and the other are a few points short, but have been on a great run.

On this evidence alone i have moved to the Change Manager camp. I am fearful of next season and see us bottom 8.

Isn't that inevitable anyway? We're a million miles away from a promotion squad and the pile of crap we have aren't going to tear their ludicrous deals up. We're looking at a 2-3 year rebuild. I'd snap your hand of for 8th place next season and would sign for guaranteed survival. My guess is lower mid table.
Honestly now I would snap anyone’s hand off for survival next season. We have a bunch of unfit individuals not a squad of workaholics that want to “play for the shirt”. I don’t care who we have in charge but we need to get have a clear out top to bottom. We have conceded 3 at home vs Swansea, Blackburn and Preston and not won any of them. That is relegation form, it is lucky we got Bamford firing when he did.

The Bamford and Jairo signings saved us from relegation.

Ready for the abuse that comes my way from the cultists but that's because Hecky is twice the manager that Wilder versions 2 and 3 are 🤷‍♂️ .

Bit harsh on Bamford.

If the owners don’t sack him now it will tell me they have no pashun for the club. They bought it to flip it but we missed promotion.

If he stays it shows it’s Wilders show, he’s in charge and they have just retreated back to the USA

I'd snatch you hand off to finish 21st next season. Bamford, Brooks, Seriki, Peck, Arblaster, McCallum and maybe O'Hare are the only players I wouldn't want to lose the rest can go, sooner the better.
Wilder and his staff should be shown the door on Monday morning, disgraceful performances week after week, lose a couple of our better players and replace them with average Joe's and we will be sleepwalking to League One. Not to mention the amount of people who say they will not renew their ST especially if Wilder remains manager.

Problem being we got a shed load of rank average players on the books…I’d hope, when the season ends the owners will come out with a statement backing Wilder for the rebuild to draw a line under this season.
(or sacking him again of course! 🤣)
