First time I’ve heard Bettis speak before. Giddings interviews him with Wilder. Interesting to hear, and by the sounds of it things have been quite well handled in the background with the owner dispute not affecting matters.

Goes into budget, approaches in the summer etc.

A new media centre was already suggested as on the way, but did anyone know that we are required to have...new floodlights?

Hope we’re going to have some suitable video coverage of these new constructions, following the great success of the Desso installation.

I think these are to do with VAR and perhaps goal line tech. We need a certain brightness

They be pernickety this Premier League lot.

The hard wire mentioned in the interview even includes the requirement for ports in referees rooms. This is a complete upgrade of the Clubs wiring systems. Good to hear they can claim some of it back from the premier league as its going to be costly.

They're going to have to start again really in the South Stand. A lot of media related stuff needs to be in the same stand as the players, I said in another thread but I can't see how we'll do some of the things without serious construction.

Did WBA few years back, took quite a few rows of seats out at the back of the main stand and fitted something like a mezzanine floor on which they extended the directors dining because I was told Chelsea who were all powerful then always take a party of at least 25 and they all need seats at the dinning table, new kitchen and TV gantry.

All done in close season in around eight weeks build.

Bettie is a very well respected operator and has the ear of both owners. Him, the recruitment and the scouting teams deserve a huge amount of praise.

Kin ell do the refs have to bring there yachts ? Can't they moor them on the Don or Sheaf ?

A big Udders supporter I know reckons the wiring and upgrades are in the region of £15m! Can’t really see where that goes but no reason to disbelieve him....he was extremely pleased we pipped Dirty Leeds, only thing he had to cheer all season!
