I couldn't go tonight as I couldn't go. But what a disgrace.
His main speech is all about "seeing games out". So how does he defend that?
If you support his turd return you're part of the problem.

You will get them same as we chansiri lovers

It was Wilders fault that their player bent a beauty past four of our defenders into the bottom corner. It was his fault Tanganga put one in his own net and it was definitely his fault McGuiness got injured and couldn't get back to challenge Jebbo.
FFS once these players cross the line it's up to them to be responsible.

I don’t hate Wilder nor do I love him . There are better managers out there and worse . Long term Wilder will be gone I would imagine as the club recycles itself. The running of SUFC is the issue and the players / manager are the sum of those decisions.
Remote ownership + Bettis = Failure
Sort the top of the club out focus your frustration on that .

3 wins from 7 after 6 losses from 6 under the previous ‘manager’.

Careful what you wish for
Tbh anyone whose managed at this level whose got experience would most likely get the same
The fact we gave the job to an incompetent but consistent failure who then formed a back room team in his image who’d never played the game says so

wilder is like a poker player, he can only play with the hand he’s dealt

But you can ask the question…..

Is he making the most of the cards he has?

Compared to Selles, he’s doing well

Could he be doing better? Yes

Players, manager, Bettis & owners - when all 4 are failing, this is the outcome.

There is no doubt that we are a better team under Wilder than under Selles. We barely broke sweat under him, had zero goal threat and looked like a team that was nailed on for relegation. Players like Campbell, O'Hare and even Burrows have visibly improved. Admittedly, we still look like a bang average second tier side, but I see us gradually moving clear of the relegation zone, especially if we can get some of our key injured players back. January will obviously be key in getting rid of some of the dead wood, as our summer transfer dealing was horrendous.

McGuiness should have stayed down on floor screaming and baying, (not having a go at him), he wanted to get back and try to defend, so full creds to him, no one covered him, any other champ player would have stayed down and we might have had a free kick. Sometimes we are too honest on the pitch.

1If Wilder had stuck with McCallum who’d had one very good and one good performance before it’s likely the ball wouldnt have got there

2 If Wilder stopped playing Tanganga as a makeshift in a three almost a wing back at times that he’s obviously not comfortable in then
that own goal may not have happened

The third wouldnt have happened if Wilder does 1 or both of the first 2

I’ll take the upset of losing the third game if we win the prior two, for the rest of the season.

Would get us 77 points which would have still been more than Sunderland who spozzed it and went up.

If we’re not going to finish top two then it’s as well being 3rd as 6th with our PO history.

So yes, I’ll happily take 2 wins from 3 in a 3 game week for the rest of the season!

What a ridiculous reply. By that notion managers are never blameless then? Complete mystery so many lose their jobs, it’s all down to the players!

Everything true but hes not slow to take the plaudits when we win is he? It should work both ways but he NEVER EVER takes responsibility for anything that goes wrong and that grates a lot. He should show a little bit of humility every now and again but he doesn't and thats why he can be difficult to warm to.

I can’t wait to bump this wanker thread through out the season 😂

The most irritating part of this season (so far) is that should we have stuck with Wilder at the end of last season, we would undoubtedly be significantly better right now and have a much stronger squad. The division is so unbelievably shit, any half decent side looks like they’ll walk it.

For example, Leicester who are currently 10th in the league have won 1 more game than we have (tbf, they’ve also drawn 5 more). Any side that puts a consistent run of results together will find themselves right towards the top of the league.

I am a Wilder supporter but his after match on R Sheffield ramble was embarrassing comparing last night match to Bouncing day
CW We will lose but move on UTB

Can’t imagine for a moment that there’s any realistic chance of that happening, though.

I've now sat through the last 2 games plus I've watched nearly every game since he walked back in.
(1) there's no pattern of plays ,some of them look like they're trying to make it up as they go .
(2) we're dropping back into the old get into good crossing position then stopping and looking for a backwards pass , ( I think cloughie once said you "can't score if you don't get the ball into a danger area")
(3) I applaud the 3 at the back but it's not working in midfield with peck as he's neglecting his defensive work not dropping in when the other guy moves forward.
Say what you want Norwood and fleck they covered each other's arse
(4) set pieces are all over the place
(5) baffling substitutions

Midfield 2 needs to be jaira and Soumare solid footing.
And cannon should be nowhere near the squad.

Right I'm having a JD to calm down

Wilder could do a lot to win back his sceptics if he started naming match day squads without Tom Cannon in them.
