Why the fuck

The team selection didn’t help, but I think it just highlighted our inconsistency and showed we aren’t a play-off team yet.

I think the Fulham game had a big influence on our season. Since then we have had a more sideways passing negative approach. Instead of thinking we were too open, he should have thought we got 4 against these, we can do to most teams and would win comfortably

As a proud Happy Clapper even I'v got to say I've NEVER seen us look so clueless and shambolic.
As said, barely a pass finding a team-mate, barely a ball controlled and barely a header won or tackle made :(
Maybe we're not quite ready for the PL yet ;)

We had a shocker, but you've never seen us play worse? I point you to most of our games in League 1 and in our relegation season...

I thought we were naive in our set up when we played Wolves away in another live TV night game. The 3-4-1-2 saw us being overrun in midfield and lose comprehensively.

Today, we did choose the solid option. Ok, it wasn't against a similar opponent in terms of league position, but on paper Hull are a good side. They have Premiership experience, internationals and some up and coming players too. Their home form is not bad (last defeat in November). With all the talk of their fans' demonstrating, their league position, it being a live game, their manager facing his former club, there was a lot factors that may have given them extra motivation. Acknowledging that, I think the cautious approach, the same that gave us our last away win at Norwich, was quite sensible. If Sharp had taken that early 2nd half chance I think we'd go on to win the game. If we'd avoided the Hull goal, after some sloppy set piece defending, maybe the second half would have continued in the way it started.

I think today showed a weakness that we've seen before. We're not great at breaking down an opposition when we're losing. Often we struggle to get in behind a defence. Tonight it was a struggle getting past the Hull strikers! There are times when we're crying out for some extra individual quality, someone to beat his marker, burst into space and finding a teammate who's also moving into a good position. Unfortunately we have too many players who come up short, failing to control the ball, misplacing a pass or at best passing it backwards to a player not really in any better position, and we have to start again. In this division we no longer have superior quality, and on off days defeats like this will happen.

i've got to the point now where i would like to know wtf is going on with Duffy? does he have poor recovery characteristics or does Chris keep dropping him?
Well his Dad has clarified that it’s the fittest he’s ever been, make of that what you want.

For me Duffy should start every game then if he gets tired then bring him off, if not keep him on.

We have Leon Clarke at the age of 33 who never gets subbed and Mark Duffy at 32 who sometimes doesn’t even start, something doesn’t add up.

agree. we should have shown some balls and gone with the 3-4-1-2 again. this was Hull.. not Wolves

Listen to Wilders interview before the game bigging Hull City up as though they’ve massively underachieved, well they haven’t, they’ve played poorly because of the players and management teams they’ve had this season, it doesn’t matter one iota that they came down from the Prem recently and we’ve just come up from league one, they’ve been shite and we’ve been better, well CWs’ attitude towards the interview transpired to the players on the pitch because we looked overawed and shite.
