As I understand it, due to our international call ups we are allowed to postpone this weekend's game. However, despite the fact that our only good forward and our first choice keeper are not available, we have chosen not to do this.

Why not?

Why is an already woeful team going into a difficult fixture in a voluntarily weaker position?

This is neglience, and if it was Weir's decision, it's another reason to fire him.

The club are embarrassed by the fact that we actually have internationals:rolleyes:

Ridiculous post! Haven't you seen the depth of our squad!!!! ;):)

You're enjoying this new found freedom to slag everything that moves aren't you btl?

I've seen a gradual swelling of the ranks of the disillusioned over the last couple of seasons but it appears Davie has produced a veritable flood in that direction. Perhaps the saying "the straw that broke the camels back" will be replaced by "the breaching of the weir" in years to come.

I don't know if away team gets a cut of the Sky cash. If they do, there's your answer. If they don't, Coventry will have offered a proportion of their fee, and there's your answer!

Coventry's manager Pressley's quote" The truth is we have a couple of injuries to key players which has affected our attacking balance. We will certainly miss those players but what has been encouraging in the last couple of games is we have found different ways to get results."
He is also missing his right back Christie out for a month after sustaining an ankle injury during their last game.
I imagine both managers would like the game off due to missing players but Sky money talks.
Christie out for a month having sustained an ankle injury against Stevenage

Christie who is out for a month after an ankle injury in their last game .
That is one long ass post

dont slag everything that moves , slag the person whos moving us one way , the wrong way
been watching us since Keith Kettleborough had hair, hes the most inept employee weve ever had, One goal from a forward in 13 games , is beyond incompetent

Got to question the decision to loan Porter out as well knowing we were going into this game without King.

I believe the Hartlepool game came after the deadline for calling it off - what if Howard had got injured and Taylor sent off?

Theyre is a good chance that if long and king dont play we might lose, but then weve lost every game with them playing ( nearly )

He wants his severance pay to be in the bank by Christmas, so it makes sense to not delay the inevitable.

DW has now confirmed that we haven't called this game off as it wouldn't be fair on those who don't usually make the first team

get him out. Get the clueless fucking muppet out of this club NOW.

I really can't understand this from Weir's point of view

1. If he postponed the game, no-one would criticise him
2. If we lose on Sunday, his failure to postone will unlease a huge torrent of criticism.

I really can't see his logic...

To be fair that second point will happen regardless until he is fired

But in addition to the usual "what a crap performanc criticism" will be added "what was Weir playing a agreeing to play a game when two of our best players were missing?" He could easily avoid the latter (and buy himself more time in the job - if we are hammered at Coventry, his lunacy in playing the game will see him sacled I think).

Maybe he still doesn't know who his best 11 are.

Cometh the hour, and all that....

This could be a turning point (though I'm not holding my breath). Something has to change.

Maybe he'll put Miller on the bench and he'll come on and score the winning goal.

Maybe I'm clutching at straws (again!).

Most clubs who sack their manager after a run of bad results win their first game with a caretaker running the show. We will now of course batter the shit out of Coventry.:D

Someone on twitter says King and Long were training at the academy. Wonder if they were both released from international duty? King didn't feature (see below - love the 'keeper's name!).

Maybe that's why we didn't call it off?

Substitutions Not Used: 2- Daniel Gordon, 4-Marvin Ellitott, 5-Alvas Powell, 6-Romario Campbell, 8-Jermaine Johnson, 13-Richard McCallum, 16-Jermaine Taylor, 18-Shaun Cummings, 20-Kemar Lawrence, 23-Gariece McPherson - See more at: http://www.ussoccer.com/news/mens-n...nal-against-jamaica.aspx#sthash.nDPDoUqP.dpuf
