Sorry if I've missed it as I have been away (no Jim not the big house), but I have just read in the local Peterborough Telegraph that their chairman has confirmed that regarding Burrows 1. They accepted the offer last Sunday 2. He had his medical at the Lane on Wednesday and signed a long term deal. 3. He has left it to the buying club to make an announcement.

Now call me a cynic if you want but this to me is really good news but the pathetic PR department at Bramall Lane is not fit for purpose/none existent. Why would you not announce this right away as its a good news item and keep the fans informed?

I actually blame the Prince for the lack of comms as its my opinion (my opinion) that he doesn't give a monkeys about us the fans. Another example of a Royal thinking it doesn't matter to keep the 'plebs' (us) onside.

Not looking for a argument but it really annoys me (along with many others things)

What you are actually suggesting is rather than having no thought for the fans, which is clearly nonsense, that in fact what they're doing is considering ways and going out of their way to actively antagonise them.

As you say yourself, why wouldn't it be announced if it was all done and ready to go? The obvious answer is, if it is done, then it's because it's not the optimal time, and it's got fuck all to do with trying to piss the fans off.
