USA are only playing two friendlies this time around, the squad looks to be a mix of fairly untested players and the occasional player with quite a few caps to have some experience (Ream, McKennie, Pulisic etc), they're not going to call Tim Ream over and not play him at his age so I guess they think it's pointless to have Trusty fly over when he's incredibly likely not to get any minutes

McBurnie didn’t help himself by being filmed in the tunnel saying he didn’t want to play for Scotland. Scotland squad is really together at the moment and riding pretty high. Steve Clarke knows what he’s doing and bringing someone in who doesn’t really want to be there would disrupt that.

Maybe McB deserves a second chance, he seems to have grown up a little bit and is becoming a leader for the Blades. But with my Blades hat on, he gets injured enough as it is and doesn’t need the additional strain of internationals.
