I thought this might be a bit of a fun way to look back on what has been the greatest season in my memory
It's not necessarily got anything to do with who you think has been our best player on the pitch, just who's been your favourite out last season's team?

Mine personally has been Jake Wright. I had no expectations from him when we signed him but he's just been an absolute leader in our defence, and I always felt confident when he was in the team (which still feels strange to say after the poor defence we've had in recent seasons). I also had the pleasure of having a conversation with him a couple of weeks back and he came across as such a nice bloke.

(Sorry if the poll's a bit of an overload or if I missed anyone major, it's my first time doing one so I'm not sure how it'll come across :p)

Simon Moore - hardly put a foot wrong if at all, breathed confidence into the side that we greatly needed

John Fleck by a country mile, a joy to watch him pick a pass or dart past an opponent, or even fly into a tackle like the one at home to Bolton where he supposedly gave their lad whiplash!

I had forgot about that! Quality player - will never forget the ball he played for Sharp that day for the opening goal - their defender was a whisker away from toeing it away but it just made it through and the rest is history.

Wheres george long ? Be ause of his ommission ive voted " other " :)

Basham. Not when he had the ball, the fun was in the process of him getting it.

I'm of an age where I've been fortunate to have seen genuine leaders in various teams. Bobby Moore, is an obvious choice, what he lacked in pace he more than made up for in anticipation and his reading of any situation, a class player if ever there was. Fast forward, and it brings me to Jake (so good there's no need to mention his surname), probably as good a reader of the game as I've seen wearing a Blades' shirt. Superb leader and organiser, and absolutely integral to last season's success as any other player we have.

I'd add JOC (if ever a player showed huge improvement it was him), he became a complete rock and showed that learning how to defend is an art in itself. Finally, and this is as obvious as any I can think of, John Fleck. From an uncertain start Fleck developed into a player that you just knew had to be in the team. His displays were immense, his range of passes, tackles, his desire to move the ball about, and finally his awareness of angles and being able to make a pass count when it mattered, Fleck is as important as any other player currently wearing a Blades' shirt. Can't wait to see JF respond to the demands of the Championship next season.

its Billy for me, encapsulates all that is being a blade, keep watching the goals on You Tube, and the moment at Northampton and lifting the cup all great moments for a super captain and all round super star.

Tough call between Sharp and Fleck, as it's been for the last year. Sharp is almost the perfect football story, returning to your boyhood club to captain them while scoring thirty. Fleck is the type of footballer I always wished I could be. Always loved that kind of player who seems to have extra time on the ball, never looks under pressure or struggles to find a pass.

Jordan Rhodes for me, for keeping the pork in the championship and giving us a 6 point boost next season!!!!

£10m!!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahagasphahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Bizarrely I went for Matt Done. He always tries hard as a footballer, appears unselfish and whips himself after making mistakes, it's not really his fault if he has limitations and is picked to play in the team. He appeared to be willing to play in whatever role Chris Wilder used him for and when substituted always appeared to accept ( as he should) the decision professionally. He presumably realised that he wasn't up to Championship level but always gave his all for the team.

He's probably a mardy wazzock and moaned like f***.

Anyway I voted for him

I went for the manager made game changing decisions.
But all the squad played their part great season.

Absolutely bang on..
Just had that bit of class we've really missed, good eye for a pass and not frightened to stick a tackle in..think the championship won't faze him one bit

You can't really separate them all but, I have been so happy for Freeman. Worked his gonads off to get back on track after being listed. The one real stand out moment for me though was Chris Wilder doing the dive after Flecks (?) goal. What amazing passion from a great managerial team!

A very tough choice but in the end I (just) went for Duffy. What a pleasure it has been watching a talented footballer plying his trade at BDTBL. We have not seen that for some time now. But it could have been Fleck, Sharp, Courts or Freeman. What a season. Its great to be a Blade again and hold my head up high
Chris is God

Has to be Chris Wilder a thousand times over - he is the catalyst behind everything that has gone well for us in the last 13 months since he joined. Without him we would be a struggling div 1 side still without any hope and little direction.

If however I'm voting for a player from last season....it simply has to be 30 goals Billy.
