Cult heroes usually touch the fans more than flair players, we've had our fair share. Who's the one that sticks out most for you?

Mine has to be Booker. Rubbish player that had a rubbish career and then boom, it just clicked with the Blades.

Ooh arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :)

Morgan. I remember speaking to a Barnsley supporter after we got promoted and he asked me who United had who would keep us up. As I listed them he was going, 'don't know', 'he's alright' etc. Morgan came up 'not good enough', 'I know' I replied. We were both wrong.

Sir Bob of Bookfordshire....closely followed by Morgs...

Trevor Hockey mighted have also John Matthews but we better leave him out

Del boy. Started off at the bottom with the pigs, went up a notch at Stockport reserves then boom, premiership. Loved the guy.
Another one who had no chance of playing in the Prem but he turned out to be superb. I remember the commentator saying, 'oh Rooney's playing with him!' Talking about Geary. Yeah he was pissing about with the ball because he couldn't even make enough space to get a cross in when he was supposedly the greatest English talent around.

If a cult hero means achievin far more than their talent deserves...costing nowt and leaving for nowt ..mick speight
