Don't underestimate his workrate. His partnership with Seriki has been one of the few positives so far this season

Think we should use 2 no 10.5s rather than wingers hamer and ohare ahead of a midfield 3 with a solo striker ahead, Brooks Peck Riedewald, give Brooks some license to drift forward into channels in attack to give us a semi right winger to support seriki etc. It has lots of triangles to exploit and keeps hamer ohare a bit more central than playing them all the way out on the wing too, allows dummy runs from central out to wide from them to drag defenders or running the channels between the cb and fb

I am not sure Hamer walks straight back in. He is still coming back to fitness after the a proper lay off and the team is settled and playing well the last few games. He will be in the starting line up soon enough, but don't immediately think it needs or will be this weekend.

Nobody…I have sadly lost patience with Gus, he has all the star billing in this team and when he’s fit always get the shirt. But this elevated status should mean he is driving us forward, dictating the play and generally being the superstar we think he is. Well he’s not and his inclusion is now starting to be detrimental to the balance of the team and is keeping certain players out.

Unfortunately, it’s taken me to this point to realise it. But the most unfortunate thing is that most of his potential suitors have probably put a line through his name already.
