Who do you want to go up with us?

Accrington Stanley. I know it's impossible, but the question was who I wanted to go up with us.

This is a football thread. Not about the person who tool your virginity in Can Pastilla in the seventies and his home town.

If Derby go up those deluded muppets at Chelsea would assume Frankie boy is the “finished article” and probably nick him to replace Sarri....... Thus destabilising the Derby ship early doors. Also they’re the wankest team in the play offs.

Villa are the form side. All the others are spent/broken now. Leeds won’t make it past the semis.

Villa it is then.

I can see the laughs in Derby or weeds missing out, less so with WBA and Villa. That being said I'm not overly bothered.

The Hawthorns is my lucky ground. Been there 5 times. Won 4 and drew one. Be interesting in what the EFL will do about Villa and Derby (also Wendy) breaking the FFP also L**ds owners have financial problems.

Anyone but Derby for me as well. I have a strange hatred for them which I can’t really explain and now they have become Frank Lampard’s Derby County, my hatred has grown.

I hate them ever since they had the audacity to call us boring!!

In this order....

West Brom - cos they're crap
Leeds - cos they'll fall apart
Villa - don't really want Villa to go up because they are good and have loads of cash to spend and Smith is a good manager
FLDC - although I think they'd get hammered every week, I couldn't cope with the national press fawning all over Lampard
My thoughts exactly. The absolute wankfest that would be thrust upon us as the media prime Frank 'been a manager for 5 minutes' Lampard as being the heir apparent to the top three team in the PL right now. I don't think I could take it. They've grubbed in on the last day, they spent about 7m on Waghorn, 6m on Marriot and got handouts from his PL mates in Wilson and Mount to give him a massive leg up. Ok, they did sell Vydhra to offset but they must have a huge wage bill and they've pulled an absolute fast one selling the ground to the owner to avoid FFP. Proper con job and surely a loophole the EFL needs to close.

Leeds I'd say deserve it, having been 3rd and I think Bielsa has been a breath of fresh air. I don't quite subscribe to the worship of some towards him; for all his genius, he's won very little and seems to have enjoyed a nomadic existence since leaving Argentina, hardly putting roots down anywhere for more than a year or two. He seems a decent enough, decicated football man and I even quite liked his response when asked if he was going to spy on Derby. After a bit of a rant, he said it's not that I don't have a sense of humour, it's that you're not funny!

West Brom have not been up to much once Harvey Barnes stopped carrying them. Gayle isn't even theirs. The rest of their team isn't that much to write home about.

Derby apart, I don't want Villa going up. They'd get the best backing of the promoted teams, be able to comfortably take targets we may have in mind and would be one less team competing near the bottom in all likelihood given their financial might.

Great minds think a
By a process of elimination - the least reprehensible

WBA - Gayle (cheating diving twat)

Villa* - Greaselish (cheating diving posing arrogant twat; Mings (opponents heads are a legitimate target)

Franklampardsderbycounty - cockney cunt & his media (cock sucking) entourage

Leeds United - 'huff said

* added (slight) consolation re Cabbage head although no doubt he will claim credit for laying the foundations or summat

Great minds think alike lol

If we weren't going up I'd want the team that finished third as they'd deserve it.

As we ARE going up I hope it's the most mediocre team (the one that finished 6th) as that's the team we have the best chance of finishing above next season.

After Leeds match on Sunday:

"After Leeds lost 3-2 to Ipswich on Sunday a journalist asked Bielsa if he planned to take another covert look at Derby’s training sessions. Bielsa called the journalist “ignorant” for asking when he knew spying was no longer allowed, and said he deserved “a response without content”.

The journalist then claimed his question was just a joke, to which Bielsa responded: “Is it a joke? If it was a joke I didn’t understand it. It’s not that I don’t have a sense of humour. It’s that you’re not funny.”

bloody hell - Hobson's choice or what! Prob anyone but Villa as they're the strongest of the lot & may nick some signings off us.

Kin hell it is like choosing which STD you prefer to catch Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia or Herpes. I suppose one of the Birmingham clubs would be the least disagreeable I really don't give a toss which one. Maybe WBA as my dads side of the family came from West Bromwich and Walsall 120 years ago

Not FLDC, Not Scum. Don't have a preference of either East Brom or Asstown Villa.

Was going to say WBA but then I realised that my two brothers in law are nominally Baggies fans one of whom gives it the Billy Big Bollox so i'll say Derby. I don't hold with the idea that having another Yorkshire club in the Prem is a good thing as we're in direct competition with them for support. Wouldn't mind Vile I suppose.

I think I said West Brom preciously, but I don’t have a boat in this race. Could probably have an argument for and against all teams so let the beet team win

Have they? WYHDP?

My understanding is if it was proven before a certain date the points are docked That season (eg brum). After that date the deficit is from the beginning of the next season. Might be totally wrong but heard it somewhere.
