i'm torn on who i want to come up through the league 2 play offs,
york would be a good day out with decent pubs and short journey, we'd also get 2300 tickets which isn't bad for a small ground.
fleetwood could be a decent day/weekend in blackpool if its on a saturday at the right time of year, but we'd only get 831 tickets and we'd probably be made to play on a tuesday in february, so not so fussed.
burton is not too far with some decent pubs and we'd get 1800 tickets, so not a bad option
southend would be the worst option in terms of distance but if it is on a weekend at the right time of year, possibly first or one of the last away games, with 2000 tickets it could be a be a good one. had a banging day here when arnott scored in the last minute.
i think my preference would be york

York or Burton. Preferably York though. Only for the place.

York!! Just round the corner and I have a work colleague who is a ST holder, so we are beacons amongst the Leeds shite we work with.

York City. I spent three years at university there and love the place. A definite soft spot club and a nailed on away day / wkd for me. :)

Up the Minstermen!

Southend for me, as an exile in the South. Be happy with a trip to Burton though. Love Yorvik mind and could easily make a weekend of it. Fleetwood would be my least favourite.

Southend please. Sorry for these one or two Blades living up near Sheffield - but you need a few glory hunter fans like Ollie & I

Sorry could never support that wanker Worthington ,(got my mate sacked as his milkman when he lived at Bradway :) ) So its Burton for me.

What did the milkman do to incur the Worthington wrath? Anything like a porn movie scenario?

Not Southend purely because I had an incident with a carful of their fans this season at Watford Gap whilst hitchhiking.

They stopped and the cock of a driver said, "SUFC?"

"Erm, yep."

"Well, get yer bag," he said, but as I went to pick it up whilst wondering how they were going to fit me in, he drove off. Oh so funny.

I wouldn't have minded too much, but I'd held the service station door open for the fucker about 15 minutes earlier.

I'd be happy with anyone but Southend.

Fleetwood probably has the potential to be the best away day (provided the times and dates are right).

Burton Albion for me for the sake of a work colleague who lives in Leeds but follows them (work permitting) whenever he can get.

We will go to the match together (if) when we play them in the league.

Oh and decent beer in Burton ;)

York. Used to see a women who lived there. Would like to "catch up" with her after a belly full of beer and 3 points ;)

I can only think you have never been to Fleetwood, Mack. A day out in Burton would be preferable and that's saying summat.

Selfish reasons Burton. 15 minutes from me and I watch them a bit when I can't get to see us but have the pass out stamped. Lovely little ground and good ale. If it wasn't my son's birthday I would be off to Wembley if they get there.

Breweeeeeeeers!
