Some of these are already a write off, just wondered what you all thought?

We are at it again lads

Brayfords a dream until we go up.
Ogradys reality

The Beard. Scoring goals is not a problem. Conceding them has been.
Scoring goals is a problem, it's the most glaring one, especially at home. We've dropped so many points since October because we haven't converted pressure and possession into goals. Only one team in the top 10 has scored less than us.

Brayford. Our formation relies on overlapping full backs. Him and Harris give us excellent balance in this regard. Then there's that intangible "lift" he'd give to the fans and club with his infectious enthusiasm. There's no question for me, it's got to be him.
That's exactly what I thought our problem was from the day Brayford left!
I'm not saying people are wrong, but I am surprised how many votes O'grady is getting

We score a goal at least every game. There's only been about 3 or 4 games this season where we've drawn a blank. If we'd have kept clean sheets in just half of the games we've conceded, our situation would be very different. One of Ferguson's early successful MUFC teams won titles and cups on the back of 1-0 wins. We don't need to score 3 a game to be top of the table. Also - Sparky McNulty! The lad is coming good, and we will start (and have already started) scoring more per game.

I want Brayford, for this league and the next. Suits our style of pay too. Being greedy, GOG and Coutts too, which I guess means a back up defender in Freeman.:-)
We are scoring in '15 but, without MM, we might be season over, so another striker is essential. I think we would miss Doyle too, unless we have a strong midfielder like Coutts.

One of Ferguson's early successful MUFC teams won titles and cups on the back of 1-0 wins.

Which titles?

In 1992-93 they were the second highest scorers in the Premier League.

In 1993-94 they were the second highest scorers in the Premier League.

In 1995-96 they were the top scorers in the Premier League.

Four weeks ago I would have 100 percent agreed with you but we now have found Ryan Flynn's calling in life.

Because of Flynn's form wasting nearly all the budget on Brayford would be silly. COG, GMS and then Coutts for me.

Bray first signing when we go up.

Last season it seemed like Bradford was the inspiration behind our best run of form. If he can repeat that, then sign him. If not then go for Doyle.

I'm not sure the player who's help us most is on the list - it could be Coutts but I worry he's another James Wallace.

The player we need is someone who is capable of playing in central midfield with just one other player, to allow us to break the shackles imposed on us by 4-5-1 and play 2 forwards.

I thought we'd have at least one of these tied down before this weekend.

Ah Mr Doom,
At least we are tabling a bid - Celtic wanted him on a Free- Who are the cheapskates ?

so either you didn't read my post at all, or are deliberately choosing to avoid my point as, go forbid, you might accept I'm right!

Game changing investment they said. We haven't spent the Maguire money either so why can't we have all of them?

I keep having to repeat myself but... FFP restrict us from being billy big bollocks.

Did you see the article about Messi that there are only 2 clubs who could buy him and meet FFP rules in the world? Those two clubs are Manchester United and Real Madrid. So its fine to have shit loads of money in the bank (MCFC) but unless we are generating enough money in merchandise sales, through the turn styles, TV money, cup runs etc. We aren't allowed to spend it.

The team that finishes bottom of the championship will earn more than SUFC this season even if we make the cup final.

The amount of money you earn in the top two divisions just for competing is scandalous.

I feel that Brayford's time with us - which could well have been his 'purple patch' - is assuming Harley-esque proportions. Full back is no longer a priority, NC has eventually sorted this out. A decent striker is the priority.

I've voted for "other."

Conor Coady is the name I have in mind. I think we've missed him more than either Brayford or Maguire this season.

Huddersfield fans really rate him.

Dont fully understand FFP (does anyone?) but if we got £2m on the income then surely we can expend £2m on purchases. Otherwise if we sold several players and amassed £5m could we only bank it rather than buy players with it? Nah, think you've got that a bit wrong m1

I don't fully understand FFP or whatever it is called but at the AGM we were told that the club had plenty of "head room" under the rules to spend money on wages in the JTW. Not sure how transfer fees fit in but I do not think these are taken into account.
