Which other club have you got a soft spot for?

In t'owd days my Grandfather despite being a Blade would go with a group of mates and watch United one week and Wednesday the next.

I think there is plenty of the opposite.

i.e. NOT watching United one week and NOT watching Wendy the week after :o

FC St. Pauli. If you have never heard of them, just go on Wikipedia an you will know exactly why. What a club!
 
Which ever team i pick in my football last man standing sweepstake i have a soft spot for that week, but if they lose i not only hate them but also the team that beat them. Looking at maybe Coventry this week if not maybe Southend.

Had a little soft spot for Rotherham years ago when we were better than them but now they are better than us hate em.

the town in Berks, their season paralled Wilson's first season here which got me interested in them, as I was visiting friends down there.
 
I like Barca after I went on a tour of the ground when I was 10 when Lineker was there. Gone off them a bit after they became all conquering. Them and Real have turned a competitive league in to the Scottish league in terms of competition. An example of money ruining competition. I like a bit of fallibility about my teams!

Quite like Feyenoord after a trip to Rotterdam as a junior and the kids we stayed with supported them. I remember one showing me his poster of Marco van Basten saying "ze greatest player in ze world" (praise indeed as he played for Ajax) and I replied with "nah mate, that's Keith Edwards" he was confused.

Other than that I quite like Crewe for their long term planning and players they developed and feel sorry for them that the new rules mean it is less likely for them to carry on in that vein and the rich are free to plunder them and all other non prem academies.

I should add, I look for no team's scores other than ours but like it if my mate's teams are doing well.
 

Ever since I was a young lad, a Blade through and through, I started to watch out for the results of West Brom. Arsenal and Manchester United. Three or four of us young 'uns wrote to lots of clubs, asking if theywould send us one of their programmes. We included a stamped return envelope, a big chunk out of our spending money accumulated by returning bottles to the beer off for a deposit return
These clubs duly obliged with a programme. The rest must have thrown our letters into the bin.
Well over sixty years later, I remember these clubs for their kindness to a young lad..
 
Everton. mainly due to growing up as a kid in the 80s when they were winning everything with Kendall.

And Dumbarton. Mainly again as a kid collecting football stickers & i liked their badge.
 
I spent a lot of my youth in Boston, and despite never supporting them, since I moved away I keep an eye out for the Boston United results. Shame what happened to the club, Leeds did something very similar but the punishment was much more lenient.

Lincoln City too as I used to watch them during my spell at university there. And now I live I between Leicester, Derby and Nottingham, I occasionally watch Coalville Town of the Northern Premier Division One South-their last attendance was a colossal 46.

The Chanburi Sharks of Thailand are another as I went to watch them play on a trip out there.
 
And for traveling Blade Seen Thursday on there way to Stuttgart
