Actual Scenario: After initially being transfer listed by Wilder, he cuts off his man bun, grows a beard and becomes a regular fixture in a Blades team seemingly storming their way to the League One title, grabbing some vital goals a long the way!

An important player for us this season and he deserves a lot of credit for turning his career around.

Freeman aside, the other one on that list to have done much better than expected is McGahey, who's been a regular for 4th placed Rochdale this season.

There are a lot of names on that OP that I do not miss.

Mark Howard was a regular at a team higher than us in the league until very recently. That really surprises me as his form seemed to take a terminal dip after his back injury, and he was only ever a steady keeper at best.

Pleased Scougall is doing better than predicted - he's a great option for us and great to watch when he's on top of his game.

And finally, Freeman is a player I said had the potential to become a Championship fullback if he improved his defending (that wasn't a popular view last season). If we get up he'll have a chance to do just that, though he still needs to defend better when in a four.
