So if how the song goes, that we are on the march and we are Wilders army. who do want in the 3rd round of the cup.

Liverpool, Man Utd , Arsenal, Chelsea - that would get us on Sky , BT. or BBC on a cold Friday night for a sell and TV cheque. quick cash that would hopefully get us a Coutts replacement and a potential play-off or top 2 spot, come the end of the season finale.
Possibly Hereford, Donny , Crewe to slowly progress to get the juices flowing for a semi final at Tottenham's ground and a few thousand in the bank ready for a sustainable push next season in the Championship or if the football gods are smiling on us for a change Premiership.
How many will be sat watching it tomorrow nights draw. 15 minutes excitement to be drawn against Wednesday - what a fookin let down that would be.

We could well be going to Wembley this season. I'd be fairly confident too. This team would turn up.

I might start putting plans in place to try and ensure our fans turn up too, for once....

Realistically I can't see us going on a cup run like in the Clough days not too long ago, because of the way we play and if we were drawn against a PL side (which we would at some point the further you go) we'd more than likely get battered - though it'd be a very entertaining game with lots of ups and downs!

Both turned up against Hull, for 45 minutes at least.

We are on the regularly measured brisk walk with Christopher Wilder's organised large group of people,
We are not attending Wembley Stadium,
And we do not give a fuck because the Blades are going towards a higher position,
And United are the greatest footballing group of players forming one side in a competitive game.

I think it was just a case of the fans reacting to the positive scoreline.

Generally in play off finals etc our fans sit in silence, and it's not that surprising because everybody's scattered all over the ground and there's no known area for vocal support (although it should generally be assumed that behind the goal is the place for that).

I think a one off game at a neutral venue is where fans can have the biggest impact. Make it feel like a home game and it's a huge advantage. If we get to the play off final I really hope we can properly play our part as supporters. So much rides on those games and I hate coming away from them feeling we haven't given everything as supporters.

Il take wet sham and a 3-0 win if that's ok?

If we go to Wembley in the play offs the seasons ended badly.

Yeah, we’ve proved that we’re easily good enough to top this league and the current run is worrying, however I fully expect us to recover and kick on again.

We’re a better side than 4th and we’re a better side than 7 defeats. However this is currently where we find ourselves after a few poor games

Akinfenwa looks fatter every year I see him in the FA Cup

I think top 6 would be an incredible achievement

Fair enough. I’ve never been one to accept mediocrity. Given the way the seasons gone so far I’d be disappointed with the season petering out at Wembley
You think finishing top 6 with one of the lowest budgets in the division is mediocrity ?

Budget is irrelevant to what I’m saying.

Saying the play off finals would be a acceptable finish when we’ve had a cracking first half of the season and it’s only early December is a mentality I can never accept, it’s mediocre.

Over the last 10-20 years we’ve had managers, players and owners who’ve realigned their statements during the season with a failing side. What wilder has brought to the club is a winning mentality.

The standards have been set by the players, to use a wilder phrase. I completely agree. If you start saying in December that you’ll “take top 6 at the end of the season” you’re going to end up 6th or below.

It’s a mentality. It’s a defeatist attitude. It’s disappointing that we’re 7 points off top.

When we reach the end of the season no doubt there’ll be a full assessment. But the way things are id say that we’d have had a poor second half of the season to reach the play offs

So you thought we'd win the league at the start of the season ?
