For me, it's probably the 3rd in the best games I've been to. 1 being Leicester and 2 being Darlington.

What about you lot?

Different. Leicester was an outpouring of sheer relief, delight and amazement as we could have finished 3rd on the day. Yesterday was like a procession, an army returning after victory to take in the adulation of the masses. Nice though:)

A Wednesday defeat in the play offs would be the icing on the cake!

Wish I'd been able to have been at Northampton - get the feeling that that was our Darlington/Leicester this time round.

Yesterday was wonderful though, in a different way. Sheer relaxed satisfaction and happiness.

Born in 82 and wasn't at Leicester so eeing the blades lift a trophy hitting 100 points and billy netting his 30th, the best day I've had as a blade, it'll take some beating that will. It is closely followed by the beam back day/night and MK though. What a few weeks it's been :D

In a strange way, i didn't really enjoy the game itself - i was too stressed about not getting the win for the 100 points !

1st all the way seeing us lift the trophy 100 points 30 wins sharp becomes the 2nd post ww2 player to sore 30 in a season

Being quite young, MK and yesterday are up there as the best days I've had. Northampton I was at the beamback which was excellent but not quite like being there in person. All still feels surreal and hasn't sunk in yet. But the memories from this season will take some topping, absolutely incredible year.

Number 1 for me.

The sight of the players singing the GCB back to the Kop, coupled with Wilder and Billy with arms around each other very nearly brought a tear to the eye.

After 32 years of waiting to witness this in the flesh, I have my "Darlington/Leicester" moment, and so does my generation.

Game shite. Occasion great

Missed Darlington (Went to most games home and away ......................fkin part timer)

For me, Filbert Street promotion to the Prem, without a shadow of doubt was the best game and day out and capped off with pigs relegation. It doesn't come much better than that

The game wasn't shite at all. It wasn't gash; it wasn't dire. We played, quite understandably, below our usual superb standards but there was still much to admire.

As I've said elsewhere: You want shite? Think back twelve months.

Pinchy: Posting in the interests of truth and balance for a decade. :)

Fair point. I may have gone in a bit strong there. But relative to what we've seen and come to expect this season, let's say it wasn't up to the usual standards. This of course endorsed by CW's tea cup throwing at H/T :)

Great day out? Sure. However I wouldn't call it memorable. I'll reserve my gay abandon for the day we win something of meaning. Been watching 56 years and counting!

Game was one of worst we've played this season (think Charlton was most entertaining home match). If we play like that start of next season we' ll get stuffed.

Occasion was ok. The club let the occasion down in my opinion, very few balloons, no streamers (Prince could have supplied red and white bog rolls left ont seats to creat red and white stripes) and no words from management or directors after lap. We waited nowt!

Fantastic day that ranks up there with the best of them. We won the game, hit 100 points, Billy scored goal number 30, a Blade chairman, Blade manager and Blade Captain, all on the pitch after the game, and I ended up drinking SUFC Kop lager, loved every minute of it.

The prince could've at least thrown a few bog rolls in the air when we lifted the cup, he must own a few!

As far as games go, I enjoyed the Bradford game more. It was more of a carnival yesterday but very enjoyable. Brilliant to finish 1st for a change. Enjoy it you youngsters, it doesn't happen very often!

Third worst home win of the season after Shrewsbury and Bury.

Yes but the Bury game was fraught, tense, nerve jangling to the end with an amazing outpouring of collective relief when EBL banged in the winner. Yesterday was the least exciting 3-2 I've ever seen only brightened by 100% Billy and a dazzling Samir ( sounds like football porn )

Game wise as been said average at best, if it wash for the 100 pts target it would've been quite poor but I wasn't expecting a cracker tbh....who cares? What a season couldn't possibly have wished for better, so many positives....I really love the feel, the pride & the passion that is back on the pitch and especially in the stands, 12 months ago we were on our knees and it felt light years away from where we are today. If things go a little sideways at times next season stand firm and show patience...good times are ahead in the next few years I'm sure. UTB
