Everytime I sit in the south or john street stands I feel like i'm in a library cause it's so quiet there, back of the kop is the best for atmosphere, and as for not having beer for sale? that is what hip flasks were made for, mine will be making an appearance next season filled with vodka

I have had the same seat for years and what really annoys me and my mates is that we have people sitting around us who get tickets free from the stadium manager and then moan about the size of the crowd and the support. they should try investing £400+ every year and stop being a drain on the club, we call them the free loaders

Used to be at the back of the kop, but its crap, so after a few seasons of coping with the crap legroom, idiots and shocking view we moved to the south stand. Towards the back of H-Block, quality view.
Then when John Street re-opened we moved there and have stayed in the same seats ever since.

As for the atmosphere... it's crap everywhere these days unless someone big is at the lane.

All depends on what you class as a "good" atmosphere.

i'm obviously the second tier , there before the Swintons, when it seemed much better in terms of atmosphere than it does now, but after the older ones, who'm saw that as quiet .


Should help being back in the bigtime next year though, despite the jonny-come-lately types and bandwagon jumpers

I really hope people just support the club and enjoy it in the top flight. It has been 12 years in that division and we should make the most of next year, weather we stay up or not.

Kop. Only go on the South Stand when the kop is shut. And that watery rubbish they charge nearly three quid a pint for is not, and never will be classed as "beer".
