So do I, but there is still that nagging, irritating little thought at the back of my mind that we are the masters of the late-game fuckup.

I GENUINELY believe now (reinforced by last night's result) that we are not only going up, but going up as champions and joining the elite club comprising Wolves, Preston and Burnley (I think) that have been champions of all 4 divisions. But as a blade...I won't TRULY accept it until the league table shows us 7 clear of 2nd (for champions) or 3rd (for promotion) with 2 games left. It's annoying, but it's how it is after 21 years (in my case) of eternal hope being dashed by last-minute heartbreak.

When was the last time a team surrendered a 5-3 aggregate lead with 2 minutes of normal time to go to lose 6-5? Am keeping my feet on the ground for now, there are some seriously pissed off Parisians dribbling tears and snot onto their croissants this morning.

I suppose all this fear comes from the "United Rule". "They are totally consistent, they always let you down." However - this year I sincerely do feel is going to be different. We consistently play the best football in the Division.
