I met the coach driver this morning in the hastily cleaned (and a bit battle scarred) foyer. He told me he had never experienced anything like that ever. I praised him for his skills in not getting anyone under his wheels. He said he had everyone jumping all over him and the music was deafening in the coach.

This morning ...

Brilliant! Love these stories, it just adds to what we already knew - this side is writing its history

I am not sure why the driver came in that end. Wouldn't it have been much more sensible to come in at the far end and come down to the players entrance? It was all quite well organised until the coach arrived and then it was manic when people just broke through the barriers. Must have been quite scary for the small kids. Not sure how Billy's wife, kids and family who were standing immediately in front of us but inside the barriers got out of the melee. Couldn't see any of the players and we ended up going back into the hotel and trying to watch out of a window but only managed to get a glimpse of Deano.

The Copthorne was shaking last night. :)

It was on floor six.

The Allez song was going all night. This morning - beer all over the main bar roof and one of the light fixtures ripped down. What the fuck is wrong with people? Enjoy yersens, but stop fucking vandalising. It's not your fucking property to break.

Loads of bottles in the car parks - some nicely wedged under people's tyres. This fucking country.

Top shout to the people who cleaned up the car park today. I parked my motor away from the hotel grouping in and amongst the main car park, fearing some prick might want to go roof walking. As it was, between 11 and 12 the car park had loads of people in sombreros and some pillock booting a ball up in the air.

McCabe made an appearance yesterday before the coach came back in the hotel reception.

Me & Sherburnblade Jr went to help cleaning up the car park at half seven before heading for breakfast (mainly to clear my head!). Had a quick chat with Dave McCarthy. He mentioned what they hoped was going to happen when the coach arrived, Egan singing etc.

Shame really, from what he said, it would have been great.
