We won the Central League in 1965-66 season. Reckon the photos were in either 1966-67 or 1967-68 season. Can see Geoff Salmons, Mick Harmston, Mick Hill in the first photo, not sure who is far right. Willie Smith is in the second photo but am unsure who the rest of the players were. LSF could identify them?

In the second pic, it looks like Fatty Foulkes was referee.

Looks like Phil Cliff extreme right on first photo and Tom Fenoughty wearing number 6 on the second photo.

I cannot recall people stood on the kop for those matches. I know you could walk right round the ground (which we always did) but everybody seemed to end up back on the John Street terrace.

The programmes were white with the distinctive line drawing (Ariel shot) of BDTBL with its distinctive 3 sides.

What a great year 1966 was; England won the World Cup, Wednesday threw away a 2 goal lead in the FA Cup Final and United won the Central League!

Cec Coldwell had a lot of influence on the central league winning team he was replaced by Badger in the first team
