Never seen so many posts about Players/CWAK leaving and current feelings about relegation fears etc! I get the slight concerns but jesus just enjoy the ride and whatever happens deal with it then.

Best time i can ever remember being a blade and why would current staff/players want to leave? McCabe has gone now aswell so no more players leaving for cheap as chips.

Cant wait for spurs saturday. The one game i wanted to go too the most :)

The glass has always been a bit half empty for some of us. :)

Anyone, and I mean anyone who still remotely thinks this side will be relegated needs to stop watching football and take up knitting.

I was quit cocky about our prospects in the pre season, perhaps overly so and we may finish lower than I predict us to, but how anyone by this stage can't see that there are at the very least 3 worse teams than us, just baffles me.

Nobody’s going anywhere in January unless CW says so,fringe players might leave. None of the squad that’s got us to where we are now will leave. Maybe a couple will come in if needed. McCabe cant flog the crown jewels anymore & the Prince seems to be sitting quietly in the background backing us all the way. I dont get all the negativity on here. Even Fleck playing for Scotland hasnt scuppered us!!

Well said that man. Have a like from me!!

I watched Charlton v Preston, and Everton v Spurs today, and to be honest I had to keep reminding myself that one of the games was from the Premiership. I hope our lads didn't watch the Spurs match - they might get the impression that it will be an easy 3 points next Saturday.

Like to be in that place and logic says you're right but Walsall Bristol City Chelsea Wigan Palace Burnley Hull Newcastle Sunderland Wolves Arsenal Huddersfield Liverpool Spurs Yeovil Swindon Pigs semi ...I may have missed a few... but some Blades from my generation can be forgiven feeling like a maltreated dog being asked to trust a great new owner for a new start only to be let down yet again.

Pessimism is part of the Blades culture and that's partly what makes the club identity so different especially from our deluded neighbours. So I'd just relax don't fight it and a few years of European dominance and League titles might yet win us round

I hear you mate. I have also been through the wringer with this club more times than I care to remember.

But.... I knew as soon as we saw Bolton off at the Lane in the League 1 promotion that we had a manager and team mentality that gave one finger to our failures of the past. That was the game where, if we were going to, we would have bottled it that season, and we played them off the park. The next big milestone was the following season with the Pigs at the Sty, and we absolutely destroyed their collective psyche for years to come, they are still reeling from that deep down.

Since then we have seen off the Leeds challenge, got promoted and then gone on to bloody some serious PL noses.

It's a different gravy now mate.

Its very weird the way some people think.

I guess they can't be negative about the way we play so they just decide to think up some weird, random worst case scenario theories

The Wilder to Everton one was laughable when he'd just gone to the game to watch our next opponents

McCabe never sold players on the cheap. They all their heads turned. All of them. All of the time. You can't stop a player leaving you know...

Nah, we'd all start the season feeling we'd not win the league again.

🤔

Bladey Inferiority Complex. It’s a wretched identity and absolutely nothing to be proud of.

Only in S2...

Blades glass half full, pig's glass overflowing despite how shit they are. Always been like that 🤷⚔⚔⚔

I know which I prefer. Pride in and enthusiasm for your club or wallow in miserable negativity?...

Bloody hell tons you brought a few nightmares up there !!

You can’t stop a man spending over £100m of his own money on ensuring we continue to have our Sheffield United, you know.

He isn't out of pocket by £100m though. No chance. No matter how many accountants on here tell me he is.

But let's assume he is. How bad must he be to put £100m into a business and gain nothing. Glad he's gone.

The only person who has claimed to have put £100m in is Kev.

l’ve said £60m per the accounts. No doubt some dont accept that. I don’t count the hotel and business centre in that as they aren’t football related but they don’t add up to another £40m anyway.

Yet some still reckon he’s made a profit.

Would it be fair to say Kev's other businesses have very likely made plenty of money out of property and land in Chengdu, Ferenceveros sp? and a few other linked football club locations, - opportunities which he would never have seen without riding on the back of Utd?
I'd like to see someone put a value on that. He's been at United primarily for that very reason. This was also the driver for putting Robson in charge to incease foreign "business appeal" a decision which I'd suggest drove most of the losses Kev's Utd sustained in the subsequent period!
Tin hat on! ;-)

people aren’t used to it.. they’re not sure what to do!

John Fleck has looked sensational this season hasn’t he?

Glad no one was ever miserable or negative about his ability to play in the Premier League. 👍

He has. All credit to him. He’s doing all the things that I accurately said he wasn’t when he should have been left out.

Having a view, rightly or wrongly, about a particular player is, I think, rather different to a permanently negative, miserable mindset. There are times when it’s okay to be proud, to be confident, to celebrate how well you are doing rather than ‘calm down’, ‘don’t get carried away’ Right now is one of those times.

Possibly. However they are who have funded us.
